Brits have embraced the NFL like few others outside North America, but aside from the London games they haven't received a great deal of love in return. But that changes in 2025/26.

While Monday Night Football has long been free-to-air, the extreme late-night slot has always dampened its appeal. It's been thrown away by Channel 5, but the free-to-air broadcaster has signficantly expanded its offering with a pair of primetime Sunday evening games instead.

Read on as we explain how to watch NFL in the U.K. — including FREE options.

Using a VPN is incredibly simple.

1. Install the VPN of your choice. As we've said, NordVPN is our favorite.

2. Choose the location you wish to connect to in the VPN app. For instance if you're in the U.S. and want to view your British NFL coverage, you'd select U.K. from the list.

3. Sit back and enjoy the action. Head to My5 and watch the NFL free-of-charge.

My5, Sky Go and Now only work in the U.K., while NFL Game Pass is available in most places but not quite everywhere, which means that even if you're a paying customer, the moment you leave the country geo-restrictions will come into effect and prevent you from using your subscription to watch the NFL.

A good VPN, however, will allow you to access all of the services you subscribe to from anywhere in the world. Our testing has revealed NordVPN to be the best VPN.
