No more toggling between apps on your smart TV; you'll soon be able to watch your favorite Spotify video podcasts without leaving Netflix, thanks to a newly inked deal between the two tech giants. The collab will kick off in early 2026 in the U.S. (with other markets to follow) with a select number of podcast titles spanning sports commentary, pop culture, true crime and other crowd-pleasing genres.

Among the initial releases coming to the streaming platform are sports-focused programs including "The Bill Simmons Podcast," "The Zach Lowe Show," "The McShay Show" and "The Ringer" franchise (F1, NFL, NBA and Fantasy Football; culture and lifestyle favorites such as "The Rewatchables," "The Big Picture," "The Dave Chang Show" and "The Recipe Club"); and true crime thrillers like "Conspiracy Theories" and "Serial Killers."

“This partnership marks a new chapter for podcasting,” said Roman Wasenmüller, Head of Podcasts at Spotify. “Together with Netflix, we’re expanding discovery, helping creators reach new audiences and giving fans around the world the chance to experience the stories they love and uncover favorites they never expected. This offers more choice to creators and unlocks a completely new distribution opportunity.”

It will be interesting to see which high-profile video podcasts will next be added to Netflix's already sprawling streaming library.
