Searching for something new to stream on Prime Video this week? If you're tempted to turn to the Prime Video top 10 movies list for recommendations instead of spending ages scrolling through the streamer's many genres, you might land on a must-watch — but you can't always guarantee what's trending is worth streaming.
That's precisely why we keep such a close eye on the Prime Video top 10 movies list and whittle the streamer's charts down to three watch-list worthy picks. If you're planning a move night this week, and Amazon's streaming service is your platform of choice, here are the three trending Prime Video movies I'd recommend right now.
Note: This article is based on the Prime Video top 10 movies list on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026.
Best movies in the Prime Video top 10
'The Wrecking Crew' (2026)
Prime Video capped off January with an old-school action movie starring Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista as estranged half-brothers Jonny (Momoa) and James (Bautista). Reunited after their father's mysterious death, the pair set out in search of the truth, uncovering a conspiracy that threatens to tear their family apart in the process.
In a nutshell, "The Wrecking Crew" is a throwback to classic buddy cop action movies, updated with some more modern action movie tropes, and makes for a fun watch. Here's what TG's Malcolm McMillan had to say in his 2.5-star "The Wrecking Crew" review: "It's formulaic, loaded with action movie tropes, but is too long and complicated for what it is, so it loses points for that. But it is a blast to watch thanks to Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista's chemistry, and even features some surprisingly gory kills."

'A Minecraft Movie' (2025)
While I'm personally no great fan of the "Minecraft" movie myself, this box-office behemoth was undeniably one of the biggest movies of last year, and it could well be a solid choice for a family movie night, so I think it deserves a spot on this list.

Jared Hess' videogame movie follows four misfits —Garrett “The Garbage Man” Garrison (Jason Momoa), Henry (Sebastian Hansen), Natalie (Emma Myers), and Dawn (Danielle Brooks) — through a mysterious portal and into the Overworld, a bizarre, cubic wonderland pulled right from the world's best-selling video game. Alongside expert crafter Steve (Jack Black), they work to try and find a way home, while also protecting this world from evil things like Piglins and Zombies, learning how to be creative and thrive en route.

'Sinners' (2025)
At this point, do I even need to explain what "Sinners" is? Anyone with even a passing interest in movies has surely heard of Ryan Coogler's thrilling vampire action/horror movie. It won glowing reviews from critics, was no slouch at the box office, and just broke the record for most Oscar nominations received by a single film, earning no fewer than 16 nods from The Academy going into the ceremony this year.
If you haven't yet checked it out, "Sinners" follows twin brothers Smoke and Stack (both played by Michael B. Jordan) as they return to their hometown in an attempt to escape their troubled pasts... only to discover there's an even greater ancient evil all too happy to welcome them back to town. Bloody, action-packed, and phenomenally composed, "Sinners" deserves its rep as one of 2025's best movies, and is well worth streaming whether you've seen it before or not.

Martin is a Streaming Writer at Tom’s Guide, covering all things movies and TV. If it’s in the theaters or available to stream somewhere, he’s probably watched it… especially if it has a dragon in it. Before joining the team, he was a Staff Writer at What To Watch where he wrote about a broad range of shows that stretched from "Doctor Who" and "The Witcher" to "Bridgerton" and "Love Island". When he’s not watching the next must-see movie or show, he’s probably still in front of a screen playing massive RPGs, reading, spending a fortune on TCGs, or watching the NFL.
