Prime Video just dropped a trailer for "Play Dirty," a new high-stakes crime thriller-comedy coming to the platform this fall. The streaming service has already offered subscribers several action-comedies this year, which have ranged in quality. The summer brought us the thoroughly entertaining improv caper, "Deep Cover," but it also served up "The Pickup."

However, seeing as "Play Dirty" was directed by Shane Black — who has helmed, among other things, "The Nice Guys" and "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang" — I'm confident it'll be worth the wait. If you like your scores big, and you crime capers with a comedic edge, it seems like this Mark Wahlberg-led crime thriller belongs on your radar.

Here's the official "Play Dirty" trailer:

As a big fan of Shane Black's crime comedies, "Play Dirty" definitely piqued my interest, and this new release has that same kind of playful dialogue on display.

And if you want plenty of action, this isn't just a taste of the banter between Mark Wahlberg, LaKeith Stanfield, and their crew; the trailer's practically chock full of stunts, shootouts, and action. In other words? Prime Video could well have another slick crime thriller on its hands.

Looking forward to watching "Play Dirty?" The new crime thriller hits Prime Video on October 1. There are clearly plenty of fans who can't wait to stream it, too, as the trailer's been watched over two million times in less than 24 hours.

"Play Dirty" is a movie adaptation of the "Parker" novels, penned by Richard Stark, written by Shane Black, Charles Mondry and Anthony Bagarozzi.

Prime Video has already released a brief synopsis of "Play Dirty," which reads: "An expert thief rolls out the biggest heist of his life in "Play Dirty", an action-packed thriller from director Shane Black. Parker (Mark Wahlberg), along with Grofield (LaKeith Stanfield), Zen (Rosa Salazar) and a skilled crew, stumble onto a score that pits them against the New York mob in this gritty, clever caper."

In addition to the above stars, the "Play Dirty" cast also includes Keegan-Michael Key, Chukwudi Iwuji, Nat Wolff, Thomas Jane and Tony Shalhoub.
