If you're looking to find what new movies and shows Netflix is adding this week, I've got you covered. The streaming service is adding 25 new movies and shows this week, and there are quite a few titles worth adding to your watchlist.

Top of the list is "The Hawk," a new comedy series from Will Ferrell, starring the icon as a washed-up golfer. But the biggest name coming to Netflix this week is "The Hunger Games." In fact, all five movies from the film franchise are arriving on Netflix this week.

If those aren't your speed, though, there are some options. The MLB Home Run Derby 2026 takes place this week, live at 8 p.m. ET on July 13. Once it wraps up, Netflix will drop the debut episode of "Hot Ones: Extra Heat," which brings the successful YouTube series to the streaming service. And for the reality show fans out there, "The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On" season 4 arrives on July 15 and brings plenty of drama with it.

Genre: Comedy series

What it's about: Will Ferrell stars in this new series as Lonnie "Hawk" Hawkins. He was the best golfer in the world in 2004, but two decades later, he's attempting to turn things around from washed-up legend to upstart contender. The goal? Winning the final, elusive major that he needs to complete the career Grand Slam.

Why you should watch it: Based on the trailer, "The Hawk" looks fun. If you like Ferrell's brand of humor, specifically his sports comedies like "Talladega Nights," then you'll likely enjoy this new Netflix series. It doesn't hurt that the cast includes Molly Shannon and Luke Wilson, either.

What it's about: The Home Run Derby pits some of Major League Baseball's best long-ball hitters in a three-round contest of dingers at Philadelphia's Citizens Bank Park.

Why you should watch it: The MLB All-Star game itself might often disappoint, but the Home Run Derby rarely does. It's loaded with drama as some of the best hitters in the game unload homer after homer. The only catch? As of this writing, we only know two of the contestants: Junior Caminero (Tampa Bay Rays) and Ben Rice (New York Yankees).

Genre: Dystopian action movie

What it's about: Every year, Panem engages in the Hunger Games, a fight to the death between 24 kids aged 12-18. These youths are "tributes," and they fight in this televised battle royale until only one survivor remains. In this 74th edition of the Games, District 12 has sent Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) to compete, but it remains to be seen if either of them will survive.

Why you should watch it: Based on a beloved novel series, this 2012 dystopian flick launched a massive film franchise. Once you're done with this first film, you can stream the next four movies so you're caught up in time for "Sunrise on the Reaping," which is set to arrive in theaters this fall.

Genre: Interview series

What it's about: "Hot Ones" is the show with "hot questions and even hotter wings." In it, celebrities, actors, musicians, etc., run through a series of progressively hotter wings until they get to the final wing: "The Last Dab." The entire time, they're answering questions as best they can, but sometimes, the heat is too much to bear.

Why you should watch it: "Hot Ones: Extra Heat" is essentially the same "Hot Ones" you get on YouTube. But instead of a studio show, this series of 30-minute specials heads out to the location of major Netflix events. The first special will feature Will Ferrell, Fortune Feimster, and Jimmy Tatro, stars of "The Hawk," and will drop on Netflix following the 2026 MLB Home Run Derby.
