I'm a bedding expert — the adjustable pillow I recommend for all sleep positions drops to its lowest price for Black Friday
The Coop Original Adjustable drops to $63.75 for a queen classic pillow in the Black Friday sales
Can a single pillow really work for all sleep positions? After testing different types and models for the past one year, the Coop Original Adjustable is still the one I recommend to most sleepers. And now, it has dropped to the lowest price this year ahead of Black Friday, with a 25% off at Coop Sleep Goods.
No matter your position, the best pillow for your sleep is one which provides cushioning comfort, without compromising the support to your head, neck and shoulders. After testing it, I found the Coop Original Adjustable to effectively deliver natural down-like comfiness and support in every position, earning the top spot in our guide.
While the pillow has been on sale at various points throughout the year, the current 25% off Black Friday sleep and mattress sale is the biggest saving yet. Is the Coop Original Adjustable pillow deal right for you? Let's take a closer look at its specs...
Coop Sleep Goods Original Adjustable: queen from $85 from $63.75 at Coop Sleep Goods
Crafted from contouring shredded memory foam and cushioning microfiber, the Original Adjustable pillow available in three shapes (classic, crescent and cut-out) and two sizes (queen and king), features that hotel-style luxury comfort you can sink into. As the name suggests, you can adjust the firmness and overall feel of the pillow by simply adding or removing the foam and fiber fill, based on your sleeping preference. The pillow comes encased in Lulltra (a blend of polyester and bamboo-derived viscose rayon) jacquard-knit pillow cover which I found to be breathable, soft and easy to maintain (wrinkle-resistant, machine washable and dryer-friendly). The current deal drops the MSRP of a queen pillow to $63.75 from $85 , which is the lowest price we've seen all year. Not to mention that Coop also offers industry-best sleep benefits with each pillow purchase: a 100-night trial period, five-year warranty and free shipping.
Hot sleeper? Try this deal instead...
Memory foam is a man made material that's infamous for trapping heat. Despite this, I never woke up due to overheating or nightsweats during the Coop Original Adjustable Pillow review period.
In my experience, the pillow remained a comfortable neutral temperature thanks to the poly-fiber (which prevents clumping and therefore better airflow) and the breathable Lulltra pillowcase.
However, very hot sleepers might need something packed with specialist cooling fibres. While upgrading to Coop's Cool+ Pillow might be a cost-effective option, if you're after consistently cool sleep, the below Casper deal is what I'd recommend:
Casper Hybrid Snow Pillow: standard from $179 from $161.10 at Casper
Our tester was super impressed by the heat-dissipating triple-cooling tech, which scored a whopping 5.5 out of 5 for temperature regulation in our Casper Hybrid Pillow with Snow Technology review. This actively cooling pillow is best recommended for side and combination sleepers due to its medium loft and firmness. Our biggest gripe is, however, the price. A standard pillow currently costs $161.10 (was $179), even after the 10% discount for Black Friday. Other perks include a 30-night trial, one-year warranty and free shipping.
