Prime Day deals are officially live! While the next few days can be exciting for deal hunters, there are also a lot of potential pitfalls. That's due to the fact that not every Prime Day deal merits your attention.
That's where I come into the picture. I've been covering this retail holiday for over a decade and along with the Tom's Guide team — we'll help you find the best deals on items we've reviewed, tested, or recommend.
There's a lot of junk deals on Prime Day and after covering every Prime Day, I can confidently say that one of the best things you can buy this week is Amazon hardware. Whether you're buying your first Blink security camera or upgrading to the latest Echo speaker, Alexa-powered devices are on sale from just $12 right now.
Meanwhile, back-to-school season is officially here and Amazon has back to school supplies on sale from $1. The sale includes everything from colored pencils to Sharpies.
Not a Prime member? You can score a 30-day free trial or a free 6-month Prime for Young Adults trial if you're a college student. Check out the rest of my favorite deals below.

Best Prime Day deals
The AirPods Pro 3 bring the heat with 10 hours of battery life, improved sound, and superior active noise canceling. In our AirPods Pro 3 review we said the Editor's Choice buds deliver the upgrade iPhone users have been waiting for with improved battery life, stronger noise cancellation, and smart new features like Live Translation, which delivers real-time translations to your ears.
Why it's a great deal: This is one of the biggest Prime Day Apple deals you'll find. With all the features and great sound quality on board, the AirPods Pro 3 are incredibly good value. Finding better headphones at this price is tough. Also — I think these will sell out fast.

Saving on your streaming bills is tough — but this Paramount+ deal is amazingly good value. Through June 25, new and returning subscribers can get the first two months of any monthly subscription plan (Essential or Premium) for just $0.99/month.
You'll get access to everything from live NFL games and Champions League matches to shows from CBS and MTV. Personally, I'm here for the Nickelodeon catalogue — I'll be binging episodes of my favorite nostalgic shows like SpongeBob and Rugrats.

Alexa devices: deals from $12 @ Amazon
Amazon makes just about every kind of smart device, and Prime Day is the best time of year to save. It's definitely not a surprising sale, but if you need a new Fire TV Stick, smart speaker or home security camera, prices are at their lowest during Prime Day.
Why it's a great deal: You won't save more on Amazon devices at any other time of the year (other than Black Friday.)

We discuss everything in 2,000-word detail in our 4-star De'Longhi Stilosa review, but here's the TLDR: the Stilosa is a remarkable machine considering its price. It makes technically wonderful espresso, heats up quickly, and has a very powerful steam wand capable of aerating velvety milk.
Why it's a great deal: My colleague and ex barista Erin Bashford says the Stilosa is a remarkable machine considering its price. It makes technically wonderful espresso, heats up quickly, and has a very powerful steam wand capable of aerating velvety milk. It was $15 cheaper on Black Friday, but it's a steal at this price.

Our JBL Go 4 review determined that this is the perfect portable Bluetooth speaker for those on a budget. Small enough to take traveling, it still packs enough performance to soundtrack small gatherings while bringing useful features like IP67 water and dust protection, and multi-point connectivity. It also comes in a variety of fun colors.
Why it's a great deal: This speaker is compact, sounds amazing, and looks stylish to boot. Finding a better speaker is tough at this price point.

The U6 Pro is a budget-conscious TV for shoppers looking to spend a bit less. In general, we prefer other operating systems like Roku over Fire TV, but Amazon is rolling out major Fire TV updates in 2026 that just might improve the overall experience. That makes this TV a steal at this price.
Why it's a great deal: We've long ranked Hisense TVs as some of the best for shoppers on a budget. Now that you can get all that with a better Fire TV experience, it's a no-brainer.

A phone you'll flip over for with this epic deal
Who says that foldable phones should be expensive? Well, Amazon's giving us an incredible offer for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. For a limited time, this flip-style phone is down to $499 after a $400 off instant discount.
While it's a trimmed down version of the Galaxy Z Flip 7, the FE still offers the same utility with its two displays, including its cover screen that's perfect for shooting videos of yourself or vlogging. If that's not enough, you can also run full apps on it with one-handed use.
- Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE: was $899 now $499 @ Amazon

The Clip 4 is the perfect companion to your summer travels and outdoor gatherings. It clips to your bag so that you can take it anywhere you want. There's 10 hours of battery life so it'll last you through any hike you might take it on. We found some great sound for its size in our JBL Clip 4 review as well, with a surprising amount of bass. I also happen to really like the way that it looks, with its giant keyring styling going a long way in setting it apart from other small Bluetooth speakers.

This electric razor made me ditch my manual razor...
I'll be honest: I'm not an electric razor kind of guy. But the Panasonic ARC5 Pro has completely changed that. It's the smoothest and most comfortable electric razor I've used. The reason I'm more of a manual razor kind of guy is because I could never find an electric razor that offers a close shave and that's exactly what I like about the ARC5 Pro. It gives me a super close shave that resembles the shave I'd get from a manual razor — without the random nicks and cuts. This is the cheapest it's ever been and a killer deal if you're looking to pamper yourself.
- Panasonic ARC5 Pro Razor: was $349 now $298 @ Amazon
Forget the MacBook Neo, get this instead...
I love the MacBook Neo. It's a great budget buy for cash-strapped Apple fans. But right now Amazon has the MacBook Air M3 on sale for $799. Yeah, that's $200 more, but those $200 more get you a better CPU, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB SSD. It's the better buy and a banger of a back to school deal. Given that the current-gen M5 MacBook Air is selling for $949 (it was $50 cheaper before), the M3 is just a no brainer at this price. Check out our MacBook Air M3 review for our full run down.
- MacBook Air M3: for $799 @ Amazon
Now is the best time to upgrade your Amazon hardware...
Happy Prime Day, everyone! Deals EIC Louis taking over for my colleague Millie. I've said this before and I'll say it again — Prime Day is an excellent time to buy that new Blink camera or upgrade your Amazon hardware. Why? Because outside of Black Friday it's when you'll see the lowest prices on Amazon gear.
Fire TV Sticks, Echo speakers, Echo smart displays, Blink security cameras — you name it. They're all generally selling at their lowest price of the year right now. If you want a personal rec, I purchased the Echo Show 11 (on sale for $149) earlier this spring and so far I love it. Sound quality is much better than my old Echo Dot and it's cool being able to use the smart display from my kitchen when I need to look something up.
- Amazon hardware: deals from $12
Prime Day streaming deals galore
It's not easy to save on your streaming bills. Even I struggle to decide which services I should choose and which ones I should cut back on. But you're not alone in your decisions — we have a whole team of streaming experts to make sure you get the best value for money out of your streaming services.
Right now my colleagues Rory Mellon and Alix Blackburn are tracking the best Prime Day streaming deals and sharing their expert advice as to which ones you should subscribe to. Those Prime Video add-ons from $0.99 are especially tempting.
Huge Lego Star Wars savings
I love to check out Amazon's top 100 deals rankings to see what's taken the top spot. At the moment, I'm seeing the Kindle Paperwhite at the #1 spot! However, just a few places behind it is this Lego Star Wars set. You can save 30% on the Lego Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer to build your fleet!
- Lego Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer: was $159 now $111 @ Amazon
$40 off the AirPods' biggest rival
AirPods who? If you're a Samsung phone user, you should grab a pair of Samsung buds — it just makes sense. We loved these ones in our Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro review and said they sounded just as good as rivals like the AirPods Pro 3, Sony WF-1000XM6, and Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds Gen 2. You get incredibly clear sound with great bass, and the active noise canceling is strong to boot.
- Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro: was $249 now $209 @ Amazon
$135 for more peaceful mornings? I'll take it
The summer solstice has just passed. That means the number of daylight hours we have will start decreasing for the rest of the year. At the moment, getting up early isn't a problem for me — my alarm is set for 6.30 am and the sun still wakes up before I do. But pretty soon, it'll be dark out, and I'll be yawning and repeatedly hitting the snooze button again.
Before that happens, I'm really tempted to grab the Hatch Restore 3. It's the best sunrise alarm clock our sleep team has tested, and it's the perfect way to wake up gently while feeling refreshed.
- Hatch Restore 3: was $169 now $135 @ Amazon
The best Android phone is $350 off
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is the best Android phone you can buy right now. Amazon is taking $350 off its price for Prime Day — which is a new all time low. Sure, the phone is still expensive, but it provides blazing-fast performance, some of the best cameras we've ever used and sixteen hours of battery life on a charge.
- Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: was $1,299 now $949 @ Amazon
AirPods Max 2 crash to lowest price ever
The AirPods Max 2 are amazingly good headphones. Apple made us wait six years from the release of the original AirPods Max, but it was worth it. Just about everything has improved. The AirPods Max 2 bring better sound quality, stronger active noise canceling and an extremely comfortable fit.
$399 is a new all-time low price for these headphones. Grab them while you can!
- AirPods Max 2: was $549 now $399 @ Amazon
Never lose your keys again with the AirTag 2 4-Pack at just $89
This could be the most important Prime Day purchase you could make. If you ever lose track of your stuff, or even just live with someone who does — saying that goes double. Right now you can grab a 4-Pack of AirTag (2nd Gen) key finders, and then use them to track your stuff down using the Find My app. Usually AirTags cost $29 each, so this deal is even better than it looks — you're really saving $27.
- AirTag 2nd Gen (4-Pack): was $99 now $89 @ Amazon
The best Kindle deal, bar none
The best Kindle deal for Prime Day is definitely the Kindle Paperwhite. It's the best Kindle we've tested because it offers the best balance of features and price — an easy to read 7-inch display, weeks of battery life, and a lightweight, comfortable design. It's also IPX8 waterproof rated, so you're safe to read wherever you like without worrying about it getting damaged.
- Kindle Paperwhite: was $159 now $124 @ Amazon
Big savings on the Apple Watch 11
Apple's best smartwatch is on sale for $279. That's a great price drop that you don't see during just any sales event! Grab it while you can.
- Apple Watch Series 11 (42MM): was $399 now $279 @ Amazon
This LG OLED TV deal is so good, Amazon is hiding it
I've been writing about LG C-Series OLED TV deals for years now and it feels like they only get better and better. The TVs improve every year and TV prices get more affordable thanks to the introduction of new models. If you're shopping for an OLED TV this Prime Day, I think you should get the LG C5, and here's why.
We currently rank the LG B6 OLED as the best TV on the market. However, until a couple of months ago, the LG C5 OLED had the crown. We gave it a rare 5-star rating in our LG C5 OLED TV review, because its combination of picture quality and price was simply some of the best we've ever seen.
The 65-inch C5 TV cost $2,699 at launch, and now you can get it for just $1,199. That's a $1,500 price reduction over time, and it makes the LG C5 OLED unbelievably good value considering how great its picture is.
But what about the LG B6? Pulling directly from our test results, the LG C5 outperforms the B6 in terms of brightness and the three color coverage gamuts we test for. The higher brightness means you'll be able to see the screen better if your room is brightly lit, and the color gamut coverage means it has a higher range of colors that it can display.
Plus, the C5 costs $600 less than the B6 for a TV of the same size.
The LG B6 is a great TV and I'm pretty sure it will be on sale for a similarly big discount this time next year. But if you're buying today, the LG C6 is the one to get.
- LG C5 4K OLED TV: was $2,696 now $1,196 @ Amazon
