Fujifilm Instax cameras are on sale for Prime Day — here's my favorite deals from someone who's owned one since 2012
Because some moments deserve to be held, not scrolled past
I've had my Instax Mini since 2012 and I genuinely cannot imagine not having one. There's something about a physical print, something you can stick on a fridge, tuck into a wallet, or hand to someone on the spot that a camera roll just can't replicate.
Three Instax cameras are on sale for Prime Day right now, at three very different price points. And if you want to keep up with all the best Prime Day deals as they drop, our team is covering everything in real time on the Tom's Guide Savings Squad live blog. Here's which one belongs in your bag.

Fujifilm Instax deals
This is the one to start with if you've never owned an Instax. I've had my Instax Mini since 2012 and it's still going strong, which tells you everything you need to know about how well these cameras are built. The Mini 12 is compact, easy to use, twist the lens to turn it on and you're ready to go. Automatic exposure and flash mean you don't need to think too hard about settings, the built-in selfie mirror means you're never out of frame, and prints come out in about five seconds. This bundle includes a 10-pack of film, hand strap, and batteries so you can start shooting straight out of the box. Available in green and pink at this price.
The Mini 41 is the step up from the 12: the same compact, easy to use format but with a close-up mode and parallax correction for sharper, better framed shots when you're shooting up close. Auto exposure and flash do the heavy lifting on settings, the built-in selfie mirror is there when you need it, and it prints the same crisp 2x3 inch photos the Instax range is known for. If you're buying your first Instax and want a little more versatility than the entry model without jumping to the premium price point, this is the sweet spot.
The Mini 99 is for the person who takes their instant photography seriously. Five shooting modes (Normal, Indoor, Sports, Double Exposure, and Bulb,) give you a level of creative control you simply don't get on the other models in this lineup, and six colour effect settings let you push the aesthetic of your prints in genuinely interesting directions. Five levels of brightness control, a built-in self timer, and tripod mounting capability round out a camera that's as much a creative tool as it is a fun one. Plus, the matte black finish looks beautiful, too.
