How to watch NFL 2025 on Fox
Catch 'America's Game of the Week' and more on Fox this season

More than 30 years since Fox aired its first NFL game, the network is now among the main places to watch NFL broadcasts in the U.S. With dozens of live games every season, Sundays would feel very different without Fox's famous doubleheaders.
This season sees the GOAT himself, Tom Brady, return to Fox's commentary team, alongside its main announcer Kevin Burkhardt. They lead a stellar broadcast team that also includes the likes Erin Andrews, Tom Rinaldi, Joe Davis, Greg Olsen and Pam Oliver.
Read on as we explain how to watch NFL on Fox without cable, and from anywhere.
Live NFL on Fox in 2025/26
The feather in Fox's cap is what it calls "America's Game of the Week", which gets the network's top billing on 10 Sundays across the season. You can see its line-up of games further down this page.
Fox also has the rights to several other matchups every Sunday — we recommend checking you local Fox listings from week to week to see what games it's showing.
On top of that, Fox will broadcast the NFL’s annual "John Madden Thanksgiving Celebration" on Thursday, November 27. This year's event sees the Detroit Lions host the Green Bay Packers.
Plus, on Saturday, December 20, Fox will host a festive doubleheader comprising Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Commanders.
How to watch NFL on Fox without cable
Football fans in the U.S. will be able to watch games on local Fox channels through an aerial or via the Fox Sports website with a valid login.
If you've cut the cord and don't have access to Fox on cable, you have plenty of options. Our top pick is Sling TV: the Sling Blue package costs from just $51month and comes with more than 40 channels including Fox in selected markets.
Fubo is a more comprehensive option, including Fox with all its plans. The Pro plan costs $85/month but gives you 200+ channels and you can give it a try before you buy with a Fubo free trial.
Alternatively, there's Fox's very own new streaming subscription: Fox One. Plans start at $20/month after a 7-day free trial and include access to content from local Fox stations, Fox Sports, FS1, FS2, Big Ten Network (B1G), Fox News and more from the network.
How to watch NFL on Fox live from anywhere
Although the likes of Fox One, Sling and Fubo are only available to watch in the U.S., American football fans finding themselves overseas when a game is on can still stream them with the aid of one of the best VPNs.
The software sets your devices to appear as if they're back in your home country regardless of where in the world you are. So, it's ideal for sports and TV fans away on vacation or on business. Our favorite is NordVPN. It's the best on the market:
We specialize in testing and reviewing VPN services and NordVPN is the one we rate best. It's fast, has top-level security features, and has a brilliant track record when it comes to unblocking streaming platforms. It's terrific value too, and with over 7,000 servers across 115+ countries, we thoroughly recommend it.
Why should you use a VPN to watch Fox live?
As explained above, you won't be able to watch Fox coverage when overseas. The moment you leave U.S. soil for work or on vacation, you'll lose access to Fox and all of its sports and other content.
However, a VPN will give you a route back in, no matter where in the world you are. VPNs also encrypt and anonymize your internet use, thereby preventing cybercriminals, government agents and internet service providers from keeping tabs on you.
What else is on Fox?
Fox goes big on its NFL coverage. Sundays start from 11 a.m. ET on the network with its "Fox NFL Kickoff" show, with plenty of pregame analysis.
It offers even more online, with all the scores, stats, standings and odds any football fan could need. On social media, its @NFLonFOX channels serve bespoke content for those on Facebook, X, Instagram and TikTok. And "The NFL on Fox Podcast" drops four new episodes days every week.
Fox also has the rights to show live college football, NBA and college basketball, MLB baseball, LIV Golf, MLS soccer and much more from around the globe.
In terms of original programming, Fox is famous for its animation output — think "The Simpsons", "Family Guy", and "Bob's Burgers". While it also has plenty of reality programming, like "Hell's Kitchen", "MasterChef", "The Masked Singer" and "Lego Masters".
