You might feel you need a playbook wrist to keep up with the NFL these days, or at least an expensive cable package, but you'll save youself a whole lot of hassle — and time and money — by subscribing to YouTube TV instead.

There are a few really good cord-cutting services out there, but none of them strikes the balance of fullness and affordability better than YouTube TV. Plus it offers one thing none of its competitors can: Sunday Ticket.

Read on as we explain how to watch NFL online with YouTube TV from anywhere in the world.

What NFL action can I watch on YouTube TV?

CBS, NBC, FOX, ESPN, ESPN2, ABC and NFL Network are the channels you need in order to watch the NFL on TV this season, and YouTube TV carries them all.

Although it isn't the only over-the-top streamer to carry these channels, YouTube TV is the most comprehensive and cost-efficient option, and undoubtedly one of the best streaming services to subscribe to right now.

The only games you can't watch on YouTube TV are those shown on Prime Video.

YouTube TV is also the home of Sunday Ticket, which lets you watch any out-of-market Sunday afternoon game. However, it isn't included as part of a standard YouTube TV subscription. RedZone is also available separately.

Watch YouTube TV from anywhere in the world

YouTube TV only works in the U.S., which means that even if you're a paying customer, the moment you leave the country geo-restrictions will come into effect and prevent you from using your subscription to watch the NFL.

A good VPN, however, will allow you to access all of the services you subscribe to from anywhere in the world. Our testing has revealed NordVPN to be the best VPN.
