Germany vs Hungary Euro 2020 time, date, channel

The Germany vs Hungary Euro 2020 game starts today (Wednesday, June 23) at 8 p.m. BST / 3 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. PT. In the U.S., it's available on ESPN2. In the U.K., you can watch on BBC iPlayer. Full channel details below.

The Germany vs Hungary live stream is starting soon, and it looks set to be a thrilling game as both sides aim to qualify for the Ro16.

Germany proved their big-game credentials after a convincing 2-4 win over Portugal at the weekend, so will come into this game in high spirits. But Hungary have reason to be quietly confident of causing an upset after holding favorites France to a draw, and even taking the lead just before half-time.

Neither of these teams is yet guaranteed a place in the first knockout round, so both will be playing for their Euro 2020 survival. The final group standing will also be highly dependent on the result in the concurrent Portugal vs France match.

Germany fought back after conceding first against Portugal to eventually comfortably win. The team's younger talents like Kai Havertz and Serge Gnabry were the real stars of the show, but veterans Toni Kroos and Thomas Müller also put in solid shifts.

The entire nation of Hungary was in dreamland when they took the lead against current World Champions France in their last game. While the French did eventually equalize, the team earned a spirited draw and showed enough to suggest they could prove a tricky opposition for Germany.

So how do they line up? Well Hungary are unchanged, but the Germans have replaced two players, with Müller dropping back to the bench and Lukas Klostermann missing out entirely:

Germany: Manuel Neuer; Antonio Rudiger, Mats Hummels, Matthias Ginter; Robin Gosens, Toni Kroos, Ilkay Gundogan, Joshua Kimmich; Kai Havertz, Serge Gnabry, Leroy Sane

Hungary: Peter Gulacsi; Endre Botka, Willi Orban, Attila Szalai; Loic Nego, Laszlo Kleinheisler, Adam Nagy, Andras Schafer, Attila Fiola; Roland Sallai, Adam Szalai
