Paramount+ has tons of new shows for your weekend binge-watch. The streaming service constantly adds new episodes of hit shows and even entire seasons to binge. It just added 147 new movies and shows on April 1 alone. These aren't all new original shows, either; the streamer also adds new shows from Paramount's networks, like CBS, as well as coproductions with international studios.
This weekend, I've got three shows worth watching in one sitting. First, there's the revival of "Matlock," which just wrapped up season 2. Another show worth checking out? Tyler Perry's Divorced Sistas." Part 1 was a big hit for BET+, but that streaming service is no more. So now, you can watch the first part and new episodes, exclusively on Paramount+. Finally, the most recent spinoff of "Yellowstone," "Marshals," is going strong in its first season and a must-watch for those who miss the Dutton Ranch.
So, here are the three new to Paramount+ shows you need to binge-watch this weekend. If you need more recommendations, check out everything coming to Paramount+ in April 2026 for more options.

Malcolm has been with Tom's Guide since 2022 and watches dozens of shows each year so you don't need to watch any bad ones. He's already watched over 15 seasons of TV this year, and thankfully, it's mostly been good.
'Matlock' season 2
Genre: Legal drama series
What's it about? Madeline Kingston (Kathy Bates) is a retired lawyer, but when she loses her daughter Ellie in the opioid epidemic, she decides to get back in the game. She adopts the persona of widow Madeline "Matty" Matlock, and gets hired at the law firm she thinks hid evidence that could have saved her daughter. She's helping them win cases, but secretly, she's looking for justice.
Why you should watch it: This is a perfectly serviceable legal drama that not only puts its own spin on the 1986 original, but exists in a world where Andy Griffith still starred as Matlock in the beloved nine-season '80s show. But while Bates' Madeline Kingston adopts the name Matlock after the 1980s character, only Bates has ever received an Emmy nomination for playing the iconic role. And she might get another after season 2, which just had its finale this week.

'Tyler Perry's Divorced Sistas' season 1
Genre: Comedy-drama series
What's it about? Rasheda (LeToya Luckett), Geneva (Khadeen Indréa), Naomi (Porscha Coleman), Tiffany (Briana Price), and Bridgette (Jennifer Sears) are all friends, and they're all going through relationship problems. Part 2 of season 1 escalates the drama when long-simmering tensions erupt, causing relationships to fracture.
Why you should watch it: You might not have seen the first half of "Divorced Sistas" season 1 because it was on BET+. But now that it's on Paramount+, you can binge all of part 1 and the first two episodes of part 2.

'Marshals'
Genre: Neo-Western drama series
What's it about? "Marshals" stars "Yellowstone" actor Luke Grimes. He's reprising his role as Kayce Dutton in this hybrid sequel/spin-off, which follows the former U.S. Navy SEAL and rancher as he joins a specialized group of U.S. Marshals tasked with protecting the Montana wilderness.
Why you should watch it: Taylor Sheridan is sitting out this new "Yellowstone" spin-off, but many familiar faces are returning. Gil Birmingham, Mo Brings Plenty and Brecken Merrill all reprise their roles as Thomas Rainwater, Mo and Tate Dutton. Plus, it's been renewed for season 2, so you know you're committing to a show that isn't going away.
Stream the first eight episodes of "Marshals" on Paramount+ now (episode 9 arrives April 26)
