Netflix top 10 shows — here’s the 3 I would binge-watch this week
Here's what should be top of your Netflix watchlist this week
With Netflix constantly rolling out new series, it can be tough to keep up with everything worth watching, and that’s before you even look at what’s streaming on other major platforms. If you’re having trouble deciding what to watch next, the Netflix Top 10 chart might seem like the easiest place to start.
But just because a show is trending doesn’t always mean it’s actually good — and that’s where we come in. Each week, we dig through Netflix’s Top 10 list and highlight three standout titles that genuinely deserve a spot on your watchlist.
You’ll find my latest Netflix picks, along with the full Top 10 list, below. This roundup reflects the Netflix U.S. Top 10 as of Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
Best shows in the Netflix Top 10
'Nobody Wants This'
Netflix’s hit rom-com returns, and it turns out: everybody actually wants this. After an against-all-odds reconciliation, agnostic sex podcaster Joanne (Kristen Bell) and charming rabbi Noah (Adam Brody) are diving heart-first into coupledom. But merging their worlds proves trickier than falling in love, as religion, family and real life start testing their fairy tale.
Season 2 digs into the messy, funny and painfully relatable work of staying together. Creator Erin Foster expands the universe (and the chaos) through new faces played by Miles Fowler, Arian Moayed, Alex Karpovsky and Leighton Meester (Brody’s real-life wife).

'Dark Winds'
This underrated thriller featuring a mostly Native American cast makes a welcome return — and fans will be happy to know that the show has been renewed for season 4, too. Picking up six months after the explosive season 2 finale, Lt. Joe Leaphorn (Zahn McClarnon) and Jim Chee (Kiowa Gordon) dive into a chilling new mystery — the disappearance of two boys, leaving only a blood-stained patch of earth and an abandoned bicycle behind.

Meanwhile, Bernadette Manuelito (Jessica Matten), now with the U.S. Border Patrol, stumbles upon a deadly smuggling conspiracy.

'The Diplomat'
When season 3 kicks off, the twisty political thriller picks up mid–mid-constitutional crisis and doesn’t stop to catch its breath. The president is dead, Grace Penn (Allison Janney) is suddenly commander in chief, and her husband, Todd (new cast member Bradley Whitford), is already testing out his “First Gentleman” smirk.
Kate Wyler (Keri Russell) is stuck living the nightmare of getting what she asked for, while Hal (Rufus Sewell) happily plots her path to the vice presidency. But old secrets, more international intrigue and messy marriage issues threaten to upend the new world order.
