Disney Plus is packing September with new shows and movies that range from heartwarming to action-packed to downright chilling. There's a little something for everyone that'll make fall just a bit cozier.
To kick things off, the live-action "Lilo & Stitch" brings the fan-favorite tale into a new light, as a lonely girl named Lilo in Hawaii finds her "ohana" with a mischievous alien who turns her world upside down. Next, in "Tempest", a former diplomat stumbles into a dangerous conspiracy after an attempt on a presidential candidate’s life, drawing her into a web of secrets that stretches all the way to the White House.
And in "Marvel Zombies," Earth’s Mightiest Heroes fall to a devastating plague, leaving a group of survivors racing against time to stop the undead before their world is lost forever. Below, check out the full lineup of what’s streaming on Disney Plus in September 2025.

'Lilo & Stitch'
"Lilo & Stitch" lands in the real world as a live-action reimagining of the animated original. When rebellious alien fugitive Stitch (Chris Sanders) crashes into Lilo Pelekai’s (Maia Kealoha) world, the lonely girl adopts him as a pet, which may or may not have been a terrible idea.
Lilo and her determined sister Nani renew their bond with Stitch by their side, all the while being pursued by the alien and intergalactic forces that want to bring Stitch back home and to justice.

'Tempest'
"Tempest" follows former diplomat Seo Munju (Gianna Jun) as she investigates the mystery behind an assassination attempt on a presidential candidate. When word gets out that the candidate may have once been a North Korean spy, Munju’s search for answers exposes a slew of political secrets. Guarded by Paik Sanho (Gang Dongwon), a mercenary with ties he’d rather keep buried, Munju is soon hunted at every turn.
The conspiracy reaches from Seoul to Washington and Munju's new enemies keep closing in. That means Sanho must decide whether he can adequately project Munju as well as his heart when everything goes down.

'Marvel Zombies'
"Marvel Zombies" thrusts Earth’s Mightiest Heroes into a nightmarish new reality filled with — you guessed it! — zombies. When a plague turns the Avengers into the monsters they once swore to fight, humanity’s last hope falls to a ragtag band of survivors.
As they make their way across a ruined world, they stumble upon a dangerous secret that could end the reign of the undead once and for all, but only if they’re willing to risk everything to reclaim it.
