I know Black Friday and Cyber Monday might be well behind us, but there are still plenty of awesome TV deals to discover across retailers, especially on OLEDs. Although a year old, a few of Panasonic's models are down to their lowest prices right now, which includes its LG B4 competitor that offers even broader HDR support.
Right now, the 55-inch Panasonic Z85A OLED TV is $697 at Amazon. That's a steep discount from its original $1,599, making it one of the most inexpensive OLEDs on the market right now, and perfect for those aiming to get a larger screen at a lower price. The Panasonic Z85A offers the built-in benefits of OLED display technology in a stylish package. It's packed with features for gaming, streaming, and more. Folks with Alexa-centric smart home devices are set to make the most out of the Z85A's built-in Fire TV features.
Although we don't have a full review of the Panasonic Z85A OLED TV, I did try it out in person last year. Of course, it's nothing like an LG C-series or Samsung S90 series OLED, but it still offers features that neither of those TVs boasts, including both HDR formats.
That's right, you don't have to choose between HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, as the Z85A comes with both. It also sports a 120Hz refresh rate, which is perfect for modern consoles. This means you can connect a PS5 or PS5 Pro and enjoy incredible visuals in all your games, which can be further enhanced with quick adjustments using Panasonic's gaming hub.
It's also built on Fire TV, netting you access to Alexa Plus AI capabilities. Amazon just launched a new feature for Alexa Plus that lets you jump to scenes in movies on Prime, plus it offers a wide array of other features for everyday use, including weather reports, sports updates, and much more.
One of the TV features that Panasonic gets right over other TV makers is audio. The Z85A is no different in this regard, offering stellar improvements to its speaker with Dolby Atmos support and clear dialogue enhancements. It's a major step up from rival brands, especially the LG B4 OLED, but I'd still recommend getting one of the best soundbars for ample audio coverage.
The Panasonic Z85A OLED is a stellar set if you're on the hunt for an inexpensive OLED, but if you want something a little newer, you can't go wrong with this LG B5 OLED deal.
