Why I'd buy the Saatva Classic mattress in the Labor Day sales and not wait until Black Friday
It's already increased in price once since earlier this summer

The Saatva Classic is the highest-rated option in our best mattress guide and in years gone by you'd have to wait for Black Friday to bag it at the cheapest price. That's no longer the case, as during every major sale in the past 18 months I've seen it drop to $1,699 for a queen thanks to the same discount of $400 off all mattresses at Saatva.
The difference this Labor Day is that a queen Saatva Classic mattress costs $1,739. While that's only a $40 increase on the previous cheapest price, I do wonder whether it marks the start of further price increases due to ongoing mattress tariffs.
We could potentially see another Saatva Classic price hike before Black Friday is tariffs continue, meaning that the current Saatva Labor Day sale could be your last shot of getting this handcrafted luxury mattress for less than $1,740 for a queen. Let's take a closer look...
Saatva Classic: twin was $1,399 now $999 at Saatva
We rate the Saatva Classic as the best hybrid mattress for most people. As reported in our Saatva Classic mattress review this luxury innerspring hybrid provides lasting comfort, exceptional lumbar support, and great temperature regulation. It comes in three firmness levels to cover all sleeping positions and body types, plus two heights. A queen Classic costs $1,739 in the Labor Day mattress sales, with $400 off every size including the twin. That's the best Saatva mattress sale you'll get on the smallest sizes of the Classic as they normally only have up to $200 off. You'll also get a 365-night trial, free mattress installation and old bed removal, and a lifetime warranty.

Smaller budget? Try this...
If the Saatva Classic sounds like a dream but you don't have the budget for it just yet, you could get a taste of Saatva's signature comfort and support for less with one of the brand's luxury mattress toppers. Here's what I recommend...
Saatva Graphite Mattress Topper: from $215 at Saatva
Saatva toppers may never be in the monthly mattress topper sales, but it doesn't matter: you're still getting a mighty big bang for your buck. The Saatva Graphite in particular uses the same materials as the best Saatva mattress, including an organic cotton cover and high density foam. Like Saatva's mattresses, the topper is also treated with an antimicrobial treatment to prevent the growth of allergens such as mold and mildew. Testers for the Saatva Graphite Memory Foam Mattress Topper review found the topper to have excellent cooling capabilities, great back support, and a soothing body-hugging plushness. A queen is always $295, and that includes a 180-night trial and a one-year warranty.
