Black Friday may be in the rearview mirror, but I’ve got good news for folks who missed it: There are still some seriously steep sales on TVs if you know where to look.

In fact, I came across one such deal this morning: The 55-inch Hisense U75QG is back down to $499 at Best Buy, which is around the pricing we witnessed last weekend during Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales events.

Hisense’s mid-range Mini-LED TV is a perfect fit for people who want to save a ton of money on their next TV but still value picture quality. It’s also somewhat sneakily stuffed with the sort of features you’d see on higher-end models.

Hisense 55" U75QG Mini-LED TV: was $1,299 now $499 at Best Buy

The Hisense U75QG is a great option for folks looking to upgrade their living room on a budget. It's a better-performing TV than most entry-level TVs thanks to its Mini-LED backlighting, and it offers many of the same features as higher-end Mini-LED TVs. Gamers are likely to squeeze the most value out of the U75QG, as it's loaded with gaming-related enhancements.

I've spent a great deal of time with the U75QG, and as a result, it's been one of my go-to recommendations throughout the year for anyone looking for a bright, versatile TV with a ton of gaming features. With this discount in hand, I'm ready to recommend it again.

What sets the Hisense U75QG apart from cheaper, entry-level TVs is its higher-end hardware. The U75QG leverages Mini-LEDs for better brightness and backlight control, and trust me, if you're shopping on a budget, you want Mini-LEDs on your next TV.

With bright, well-engineered Mini-LED backlighting, the U75QG not only a good choice for folks who do a fair amount of viewing during the day, it’s also a solid pick for people who want an impressive-looking picture. In other words, your new TV will feel like an exciting purchase, not just a necessary one.

But the biggest trick up its sleeve might be its thorough list of features. The U75QG may not be as bright and colorful as its higher-end sibling, the Hisense U8QG, but it comes with nearly the same set of features, including a bunch of gaming-related stuff.

The U75QG harnesses Mini-LEDs for better brightness and backlight control.

Console-owners will appreciate that the U75QG supports 4K gaming at 120Hz, while PC gamers get a little more bang for their buck with 4K/165Hz support. The U75QG also supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) for ultra-smooth gameplay.

If 55 inches isn't quite big enough, I've got good news: The 65-inch U75QG is on sale for $749 at Best Buy. That's $750 off its original, pre-Cyber Monday price.
