This Amazon deal is no longer available, but you can now buy an EGOHOME Plush Mattress for under $300 in a queen at Amazon.

I've tested plenty of luxury mattresses but it's actually a budget-friendly bed that I think suits my sleep style the best — and it's even cheaper ahead of the 4th of July mattress sales. The EGOHOME Black 12" Memory Foam Mattress, now just $299.99 for a king at Amazon, is ideal for those anyone who wants a cheap mattress that provides more excellent support.

We rate memory foam mattresses among the best mattresses we've tested. Always under $400 for a queen, the EGOHOME Black 12" Mattress is one of those memory foam beds that prove this mattress type has stepped up its game. It supported me in all sleep positions, and I could even sleep right up to the edges without feeling as if I was going to roll out of bed.

EGOHOME Black 12" Memory Foam Mattress (king): was $332.99 now $299.99 at Amazon

The $200 discount on a king-sized EGOHOME Black 12" Memory Foam Mattress is one of the best mattress sales you'll find this month. Over at EGOHOME, the size is $499.99 (down from $699.99) so Amazon really does have the edge in the price department. However, EGOHOME's 100-night sleep trial doesn't seem to be available at Amazon, but a 10-year warranty and a 90-day return policy does apply.

Our EGOHOME Black 12" Mattress review: ★★★★

This Amazon deal offers outstanding value for money not only because it's offers you the chance to buy a king mattress for under $300, but because the same size and model at EGOHOME's official website is $499.99. Here's why I think this $200 discount is the best 4th of July mattress deal so far, plus what I loved about reviewing the EGOHOME Black 12" Memory Foam Mattress.

Support for all sleepers at a budget price

I slept on the EGOHOME Black 12" Mattress from May 2025 to April 2026, and I was impressed by how comfortable and supported it kept me through the year. Its testing followed my Leesa Legend mattress review, and I must say that I much preferred the EGOHOME over the luxury Leesa.

What I like about the EGOHOME is that it provided a slight hug when side sleeping but it firmly supported me when back and stomach sleeping. In fact, I named it one of the best cheap mattresses on the market.

It also has sturdy sides for sleeping, sitting, and getting in and out of bed. Motion isolation scored well, too, so I can recommend the bed to couples as well. However, just keep in mind that, despite the copper gel infusion, the temperature regulation isn't the best, and the bed can get a little stuffy. For a more breathable feel, check out our EGOHOME Black 12" Hybrid Mattress review.

Zinus Green Tea Memory Foam Mattress (king)
Zinus Green Tea Memory Foam Mattress (king): $263.60 at Amazon

The Zinus Green Tea Memory Foam Mattress is currently $190 for a queen, and is even cheaper than the EGOHOME In a king. Right now, a king-sized Zinus Green Tea Memory Foam Mattress is $263.60, but keep in mind that our Zinus Green Team Memory Foam Mattress review is only suitable for side sleepers as it it's not supportive enough for back and stomach sleepers.
