As a mattress deals writer, I spent hours searching for good deals on twin XL mattresses. These three were at the top of my list, and all of them were under $200. They might not be as sophisticated as many of the best mattresses, but at these prices, who's arguing? These three deals are still part of extended Labor Day sales, but they're likely to end soon.

Napqueen Anula Green Tea Infused Memory Foam Mattress: twin XL was $218 now $194.99 at Amazon This green tea-infused memory foam mattress is CertiPUR-US certified and ideal for stomach and side sleepers. This medium-firm mattress uses its green tea-infused memory foam to help regulate moisture, heat, and odor to give you a cool and comfortable night's sleep. Right now, a twin is just $194.99 (was $218.00) and a queen is $218 (was $255) for a 12" mattress. The 8" is also on sale for $107 (was $135), this size would do especially well in a dorm room.

Brooklyn Bedding 10" Gel Hybrid Mattress: twin XL was $379 now $168 at Walmart
Right now, you can save over $200 on this Brooklyn Bedding mattress. A twin XL is just $168.00, and a queen is on sale for $248 (was $328). This is a medium-firm mattress that comes in three different thicknesses, 10", 12" and 14", so you can choose the right level of comfort for you. This is a hybrid mattress that combines advanced cooling technology with edge support to help you get the right balance of stability and comfort. Although it's marketed as medium-firm, reviews have suggested that it is a bit softer and would be a good choice for side sleepers.

The Novilla Gel Memory Foam mattress is CertiPUR-US and prides itself on being comfortable for all sleep positions. It has a breathable cover, and the middle foam layer is made to enhance airflow. This gel memory foam mattress has three layers designed to give you a high level of comfort while still offering enough pressure relief for all sleep positions. Bear in mind that Novilla says this mattress can take between 24 and 72 hours to completely inflate, which is typical of mattresses in a box. Right now a twin XL is $199.99, and the queen is on sale for $251.99 (was $279.99).
