If you're in need of a cheap mattress right now, you don't need to wait for Black Friday. Over at Walmart there are some outstanding deals on affordable mattresses, including a queen size Brooklyn Bedding Standard 14" Plush Hybrid Mattress for just $268. That's an amazing price on a hybrid that looks ideal for side sleepers.

If you're looking to invest in one of the best mattresses for your sleep position, we usually recommend directly from the manufacturer. You'll usually get better benefits, such as an extended sleep trial and protected warranty. However, if you're after a decent cheap mattress for a guest bed or occasional use, hitting up a store like Walmart can be a wise move.

Walmart often has fantastic savings on affordable beds from well-known brands (and it's the only place you can buy the cheap but dependable Allswell), and some of its current deals seem unlikely to be bettered in the Black Friday mattress sales. Let's take a closer look...

Brooklyn Bedding Standard 14" Plush Hybrid Mattress: twin was $255 now $198 at Walmart
Side sleepers looking for a sumptuous bed at a low price should check out this amazing deal. Brooklyn Bedding is a reliable name in mattresses, and this plush option looks like a winner to us. It's 14" deep with an 8" encased coil unit plus layers of quilt foam and comfort foam for plenty of pressure relief, and it even features a cooling cover to help keep temperatures down. The foams are CertiPUR-US certified, it's manufactured in the US and it comes complete with a 10-year warranty. And right now a queen size is $268, reduced from $399.

Allswell 10" Hybrid Mattress: twin was $232 now $214 at Walmart
The Allswell has crept up in price recently; a queen size used to be just under $300, but now it's on sale for $314 at Walmart (was $352). This price increase sadly seems to be par for the course in the mattress business, where mattress tariffs are starting to bite. Despite this, the Allswell remains a strong option if you need a good, low-priced hybrid. In our Allswell mattress review we found it to be a decent firm bed for back and stomach sleepers, with stable edges and great motion isolation, but we questioned its long-term durability. Best suited to a spare bed, it comes with a 10-year warranty but no sleep trial.

NapQueen Victoria 10" Hybrid Mattress: twin was $158 now $118 at Walmart
If a low price is your priority then you're not going to get much better than this. The NapQueen Victoria is just $148 for a queen size, reduced from $228, and it's a 10" hybrid with two inches of foam and 8" pocket spring coils. At this price it's safe to say that this probably isn't one you want to buy to sleep on every night (for a reliably comfortable mattress night after night, check out our best hybrid mattress guide for all budgets), but it's a cheap option for a spare room. Reviews are mixed, with many people saying it's softer than advertised and that it can take a long time to fully decompress, plus it only comes with a two-year warranty, but at this price who's arguing?
