The NBA Cup group stage comes to a head on Black Friday, with 11 games that include at least three straight-up group deciders and two elimination games minimum, plus reunions for Luka Doncic and Anthony Davies in the Mavericks vs Lakers clash. That's part of a Prime double-header, along with the Bucks vs Knicks clash.

Only the six group winners and best second-placed team in each conference will progress to the knockouts. Going into Friday, the Raptors and Lakers have already secured qualification, as the winners of East group A and West group B respectively. That means four group-winner berths are still up for grabs.

It's effectively winner-takes-all in East group B, West group A and West group C, as the Magic face the Pistons, the Suns take on the Thunder (a potential game of the night), and the Spurs visit the Nuggets (another marquee matchup). Detroit, however, will also have to overturn a 37-point deficit to leapfrog Orlando.

As things stand, the Cavaliers and Suns are going through as the best second-placed teams, but we're expecting plenty of chopping and changing, amongst the Western Conference teams especially. That's because Phoenix are up against the reigning champion Thunder and MVP SGA, and San Antonio, who are next in line in the second-place rankings, are facing Nikola Jokic's Nuggets.

Here's how to watch NBA Black Friday Games 2025 from anywhere in the world, and potentially for free.
