Flying winger Sevu Reece and replacement hooker Samisoni Taukei'aho each crossed the whitewash twice in Cordoba last weekend to put the All Blacks back to the top of the world rankings for the first time since 2021. Back rower Ardie Savea scored his 30th try for his country, Beauden Barrett was solid with the kicking tee as Scott Robertson's side topped the table with a statement bonus point victory.

They make just one change for the trip to Buenos Aires as Scott Parker comes in at number eight, with Ardie Savea moving to the openside flanker in place of Du'Plessis Kirifi. Starting hooker Codie Taylor will win his 100th cap.

Argentina will be desperate to start better than a week ago when they conceded four first-half tries to give themselves too much to do in a second half that delivered promise. Tomás Albornoz and Joaquín Oviedo got the Pumas back to within a score of the All Blacks, but it was the latter's strong bench that proved crucial.

Now, they want revenge. The Pumas have recalled Matteo Carreras to their backline, with Juan Martín González coming in at openside flanker for Marcos Kremer, who is on the bench.
