If you’re a bit bored of cycling through the same familiar picks on Paramount+, then you’ve come to the right place, because I’ve searched through the service’s extensive library and found a few shows that don’t get talked about enough.
My picks range from a gripping action-drama to a gritty western with five full seasons ready to binge-watch. There’s also a supernatural teen series about a girl trapped in the afterlife solving a complex mystery, alongside a smartly written horror show that’s genuinely unsettling. There’s something here for every kind of genre fan, depending on what you’re in the mood for this week.
These are five of the best shows on Paramount+ that you (probably) haven’t watched.
Article continues below‘Tracker’ (2023)
Starting off this list, we have “Tracker,” an action-drama that’s serious in style yet delightfully silly. The show’s real charm centers around Justin Hartley, who also serves as a producer, giving him reason to carry much of the weight. Light, entertaining, and with room to grow, this drama is easy viewing. The real enjoyment though comes from the rotating cases and simply watching Hartley work his magic.
“Tracker” follows skilled survivalist, Colter Shaw (Hartley), who travels across the country solving cases involving missing people and dangerous situations, taking on jobs in exchange for reward money. Working independently but aided by a small remote team, he relies on sharp instincts, tracking expertise, and an ability to read people to uncover the truth. Each case presents new risks, often pulling him into situations where survival skills are essential.

‘The Good Fight’ (2017)
“The Good Fight” is a critically acclaimed legal drama that builds on the world of “The Good Wife.” Created by Robert King, Michelle King, and Phil Alden Robinson, it functions as both a spin‑off and a standalone sequel, continuing with characters from the earlier series. The series frequently weaves real‑world events and contemporary issues into its storylines, giving it a distinct pace and texture compared with many other legal dramas.
Seasoned attorney Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) faces a massive financial scam that ruins the reputation of her goddaughter Maia Rindell (Rose Leslie) and wipes out Diane’s life savings. Forced out of her old firm, Diane and Maia join Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo) at a prestigious Chicago law practice, where they work alongside a group of lawyers and staff tackling such cases. Over multiple seasons, the firm works through complex legal battles, with Diane eventually becoming a named partner.

‘School Spirits’ (2023)
Featuring a cast of skilled and relatable young actors, “School Spirits” weaves dark humor, teen dynamics, and supernatural elements into an eight-episode murder mystery that holds your attention. The series draws you in with its central mystery and keeps you engaged with its emotional depth. It’s a must-watch for anyone looking for a fresh alternative to the usual streaming fare.
“School Spirits” centers around Maddie Nears (Peyton List), a high school student who suddenly finds herself dead and trapped in the afterlife. Unable to leave the school grounds, she decides to investigate her own mysterious disappearance. ‘Evil’ (2019)
If you like your dark thrillers with a strong horror edge, “Evil” deserves a spot on your watchlist. It includes plenty of dark humor while still embracing the thrill of being scared and the strange ways fear can manifest. Some moments are truly unsettling, with disturbing imagery of possession, hallucinations, and potential demonic encounters. In short, it’s like “The Exorcist” fused with an “X-Files”-style procedural.
“Evil” follows forensic psychologist Kristen Bouchard (Katja Herbers), Catholic priest‑in‑training David Acosta (Mike Colter), and tech expert Ben Shakir (Aasif Mandvi) as they’re recruited by the Catholic Church to look into a series of mysterious cases involving supposed miracles, exorcisms, and other unexplained events. Kristen, a skeptic, and her colleagues evaluate unusual occurrences to decide if there’s a rational explanation or if something else might be at play.
