Cool guy, very smart, innovative, creative, talented story teller, never gives up and initiated 3D animation CG as a 3D exclusive movie. Lasseter founded Pixar and persevered when nobody believed a 3D animation movie could be done and a real business. This is not about witch 3D studio is "the best" but how great it is for everyone today because of more serious business, technology and creative options. Pixar is very family oriented, mostly for kids. Dreamworks started with Shrek and it was more oriented for adults but today is also oriented to kids.
I always admired Pixar for there work. They made/make great animations.
