It's no secret that good sleep is the one of the secrets to living a healthier life, but did you know that it can increase your lifespan? That's according to groundbreaking new research that says following the two tenets of the 7:1 sleep rule: get at least seven hours of sleep a night, and consistently go to bed within a one-hour window can add four years to your life.
Achieving seven hours of sleep and a consistent bedtime can be difficult. However, our sleep editors are dedicated to getting better sleep, and the 7:1 sleep rule is something they put into practice every night with the help of sleep tech that’s worth the money.
Our Sleep Editor, Nicola says: "When it comes to going to sleep, my non-negotiables are a decent pair of earplugs and an eye mask to help block out ambient noise and light. Together, they help me to fall asleep at roughly the same time every night for a relatively low cost."
Check out this list of sleep gadgets that our editors stand by (and some of these picks are even in this week’s Presidents’ Day mattress deals).
