This AI trick is a game-changer

Person at desk

Our AI Editor, Amanda Caswell, loves to find ways to make AI work in her life. Recently, she asked ChatGPT to use Charlie Munger’s "Inversion rule" to rethink her goals, and the results were quite impressive.

Sometimes you need a fresh perspective, even if it isn't from a person.

And that's exactly what you can get from tools like ChatGPT. Sure, it won't replace the friendly advice of a human, but having a completely impartial tool that can evaluate things for you is incredibly valuable.

Want to engage with Tom's Guide?

We love comments from our readers! We put a lot of time into our articles, and when we get the chance to engage with you, it makes our day. Of course, troll comments always exist, but when we get to further elaborate on an article and help you out, it's fun!

He's a great example of our coffee expert, Erin Bashford, chatting with a Tom's Guide reader about choosing an espresso machine. The comment is well thought out, and we think the reply is ultra helpful.

The point is, don't be afraid to participate in the comments section! We read them, and we love them!

Since it's Earth Day, perhaps you're thinking about ways to live a little more sustainably? Our Phones Editor John Velasco recently turned to the big burning ball of fire in the sky to charge his devices.

As John notes: "Most people will outright dismiss the potential of solar charging, especially at this scale, but they might be surprised by the long-term value they offer."

Find out how he got on here: I just tested this portable solar panel to charge my phone

Testing the Bee wearable from Amazon and it feels like a glimpse at what comes after the smartphone. It quietly turns conversations, reminder and random thoughts into something actionable. Still getting used to it but have found it surprisingly helpful for parenting.
