The big news for Burnley ahead of this game is that they've sacked boss Sean Dyche after nearly a decade in charge. He was the longest-serving manager in the Premier League and his departure comes with just eight games left for the Clarets to secure their top-flight status.

A midweek triumph over Everton seemed like a platform from which to kick on and potentially secure Premier League survival, but a subsequent defeat to bottom-of-the-table Norwich has left them four points from safety and ultimately cost the popular Dyche his job. Under-23s coach Mike Jackson, academy director Paul Jenkins, Under-23s goalkeeping coach Connor King and club captain Ben Mee will take charge of the team for the West Ham game.

West Ham, meanwhile, are in a very different place having just reached a European semi-final for the first time in 46 years. The Hammers beat Lyon 3-0 in the Europa League on Thursday to triumph 4-1 on aggregate and will now face Eintracht Frankfurt for a place in the final.

A win in that competition could be West Ham's best chance of reaching the Champions League next year, because their odds of claiming the much-coveted Premier League fourth-placed slot are looking fairly slim. Last weekend’s defeat to Brentford was a slip that they couldn’t afford to make, and nothing but three points against Burnley will suffice.

Here's how they line up:

West Ham: Fabianski, Cresswell, Dawson, Diop, Johnson, Rice, Lanzini, Vlasic, Bowen, Soucek, Antonio

Burnley: Pope, Lowton, Taylor, Collins, Tarkowski, Cork, McNeil, Westwood, Rodriguez, Cornet, Weghorst

Neither side can afford to lose this game but for very different reasons. Find out how this one plays out by watching the West Ham vs Burnley live stream, and we will show you how below. Plus, make sure you don’t miss a game this season with our how to watch Premier League 21/22 hub.
