Spring is finally here, and with it arrives some of the best TV deals of the year. Many of the most popular brands in the industry are rolling out their latest lineups, and as a result, stores need to make shelf space.
Take a stroll down the digital aisles of Best Buy’s website and you’ll find a multitude of marked-down models, including many of the best TVs we tested and reviewed over the past year. Saving money on one of these sets is one of the smartest things you can do if you plan on shopping for a TV this year.
Not every TV is worth shopping, which is why I've narrowed it down to my ten top picks. There are QLEDs, Mini-LED TVs and even some OLEDs in the mix, like my favorite deal: the 48-inch LG B5 OLED for just $599. Of course, if you're looking for something bigger (or cheaper), there are several options you shop with confidence.

My favorite TV deals
This is one of the only ultra-affordable TVs that I'd recommend at Best Buy's Ultimate Upgrade sale. The QM5K arrives with built-in Google TV features for all of your streaming needs, plus Dolby Vision support. Its handiest feature, however, is its Mini-LED backlighting, which is tough to find at this price point. If saving money on a 4K screen is paramount, I recommend going with the QM5K over a super-cheap TV from a brand like Insignia or Onn.

If you're shopping Best Buy's Ultimate Upgrade sale for an super-affordable TV with an emphasis on easy streaming, this Roku Plus Series deal has your name on it. Its modest array of Mini-LEDs allows for better contrast control than what you'll find on cheaper TVs with edge-lit displays, and thanks to its built-in Roku functionality, the Plus Series is very easy to use. This is the TV to get if you're looking for a straightforward software experience.

Looking for a bright, affordable 55-inch TV? Hisense's entry-level Mini-LED TV is one of the most value-packed 65-inch TVs you'll find on sale at Best Buy. It's one of the brightest TVs we've tested in the entry-level Mini-LED class, which makes it a great pick for people who do a fair amount of viewing during the day. It comes with Amazon's Fire TV smart platform, which synergizes with select Alexa-integrated devices you might have at home.

Since it made its debut last year, the TCL QM6K has been one of my go-to recommendations for folks looking for a 65-inch screen on a budget. This is the model to shop if you want something more impressive-looking than the aforementioned QM5K. The inclusion of Mini-LEDs is why the QM6K delivers higher brightness and better overall contrast than TVs with more rudimentary display types. It also arrives with Google TV and a handful of useful gaming features, including support for 4K gaming at 120Hz or 144Hz.

This reasonably priced Samsung QLED serves up mid-range performance and a heaping helping of streaming- and gaming-related features. Its quantum dot-enhanced display allows for brighter, purer color than what is typically seen in garden-variety LED-based TVs, and Samsung's excellent design is on full display. Gamers stand to make the most out of the Q8F's toolbox of features, which includes support for 4K gaming at 120Hz.

Looking for an incredible OLED picture without the high price? The LG B5 is the perfect pick. In fact, it's my favorite deal at Best Buy's Ultimate Upgrade sale. The B5 isn't as bright as higher-end OLED TVs, but you still get to bask in the glory of OLED display technology. Dedicated gamers will appreciate the B5's array of sought-after features, which includes four HDMI 2.1 inputs, support for 4K gaming at 120Hz, VRR and FreeSync. The 48-inch B5 is a Best Buy-exclusive model, so don't expect to find it anywhere else.

The Hisense U75QG is a great option for folks looking to upgrade their living room to a bigger screen on a budget. It's a better-performing TV than most entry-level TVs thanks to its Mini-LED backlighting, and it offers many of the same features as higher-end Mini-LED TVs. Gamers are likely to squeeze the most value out of the U75QG, as it's loaded with gaming-related enhancements. Right now, Best Buy's 55% discount on the 75-inch version is one of the best deals you'll find on a TV bigger than 65 inches.

If the U75QG isn't quite good enough for your home theater aspirations, consider its step-up sibling, the Hisense U8QG. This is one of the brightest TVs we've ever tested, but that's not the only trick up its sleeve. It's also packed with features for gaming and beyond. And, if you're an A/V enthusiast who values picture accuracy, you're sure to appreciate how well-tuned the U8QG is right out of the box. During Best Buy's sale, the 65-inch version of the U8QG has dropped all the way down to just $1,299. It's not the cheapest I've seen this TV sell for, but it's worthy of consideration if you want a bright, punchy, 65-inch screen.

We showered this OLED TV with praise for its sensational performance, its class-leading selection of features and its approachable price point. The C5 delivers all of the benefits we've come to expect from OLED displays, but its design, software and overall experience is the result of LG's excellent engineering. It's one of my favorite TVs ever made, and you can't go wrong with Best Buy's 48% discount.

The previously mentioned LG C5 stands toe to toe with a Samsung-branded rival, and that TV's name is the S90F OLED. At Best Buy's Ultimate Upgrade sale, the 65-inch Samsung S90F is currently the same price as the LG C5. The S90F's quantum-dot display allows for brighter, purer color than what you'll find on garden-variety WOLED displays (like the C5). The S90F is also equipped with nearly every streaming- and gaming-related feature you'll find on higher-end Samsung OLED TVs.
