I review streaming services for a living: YouTube TV for just $59 is the Presidents’ Day deal to beat

President's Day isn't exactly what comes first to mind when I think of big retail holidays. Rather than a savings extravaganza, this long weekend feels more like a consolation prize to keep us from going crazy during the last leg of the winter. Retailers don't go all out like they do around the end of the year, and even the best streaming services aren't getting much cheaper this weekend. One of the stingiest deals I've seen so far is Disney Plus with Hulu marked a measly $3 off — and only for a month!

That's why I'm skipping most President's Day streaming sales this weekend, with one notable exception. Right now, you can get YouTube TV for $59.99/month, marked down from the usual $82.99/month. Granted, that deal price only lasts for two months, but that's twice as much as Disney's offering. (Look, I told you these President's Day streaming deals were slim pickings.)

YouTube TV: was $82.99 now $59.99 at tv.youtube.com

YouTube TV has been our best live TV streaming service, for a while now. Get all the popular channels you could want, Multiview and more. Soon you'll even get access to ESPN Unlimited, all through just your YouTube TV subscription, which is $46 off for your first two months as part of this President's Day promotion.

YouTube TV has topped our list of the best live TV streaming service for a while now, which makes this deal an easy recommendation for anyone looking to cut down on their rising streaming bills.

There's a lot to like about YouTube TV. In our YouTube TV review, we found that it's the best experience for most people looking to cut the cord, even if it does fall short in a few places. The user interface is simple to use, plus you get killer features like over 100 channels, unlimited cloud DVR, and Multiview, which lets you watch up to four channels at once, as well as live sports broadcasts with a playlist of key plays. It does have its shortcomings. If you're looking to watch local sports, it lacks regional sports networks (RSNs), so you'll want to check out other cable TV alternatives instead.

Thankfully, if you're on the fence about whether to get YouTube TV, the platform offers a 10-day free trial before you get your first two months at a discount rate of $26 off a month. It's the perfect time to test out YouTube TV, and there's no risk, provided you cancel in time.
