Netflix has earned a reputation as one of the best streaming services for releasing an overwhelming number of original projects. These movies and TV shows are exclusive to the big red streamer and naturally tend to be the content that subscribers gravitate towards.
Unsurprisingly, this week sees a fresh crop of exclusives heading to Netflix, headlined by the return of “The Night Agent.” This Bourne-style spy thriller series is entering its third season and promises its now dependable mix of action and suspense. Meanwhile, thriller fans have a new Spanish movie to watch, set during a forest wildfire, and there’s a new animated series aimed at grown-ups. This isn’t a cartoon designed for younger watchers.
I’ve combed through Netflix’s February 2026 slate and found three Netflix exclusives that you’ll want to consider watching over the coming days.
‘The Night Agent’ season 3
Not to be confused with “The Night Manager,” which aired its second season over on Prime Video last month, “The Night Agent” is Netflix’s ongoing spy-thriller series that follows Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso), who started the show as a lowly desk clerk, and now is a full blown in-field agent leaping from country to country on a variety of dangerous missions. Season 3 drops this week, and it’s promising the same Bourne-inspired espionage action that fans have come to love.
Based on the novel series by Matthew Quirk and following the events of season 2, Sutherland is tasked with tracking down a young Treasury Agent who has fled to Istanbul with sensitive government intel after killing his boss. In typical “Night Agent” fashion, this leads to the discovery of a larger conspiracy and a brush with a ruthless dark money network. “The Night Agent” also stars David Lyons, Jennifer Morrison and Stephen Moyer.

‘Firebreak’
Another week, another new Netflix original thriller. “Firebreak” is a new Spanish-language movie, and it appears to have a little more going on underneath the surface than you might expect. As the title suggests, it centers on an uncontrollable wildfire, which is likely enough of a hook, but the flick also sprinkles in family drama and a psychological element, as the central family becomes trapped in an increasingly twisted nightmare.

It opens with Mara (Belén Cuesta) traveling with her daughter, Lide (Candela Martínez), and extended family to a summer house following the death of her husband. This supposed peaceful retreat becomes chaotic when Lide goes missing, and a nearby wildfire breaks out. As the flames close in, Mara defies the evacuation order in a desperate attempt to locate her daughter. Relying on a local forest ranger, Santi (Enric Auquer), Mara begins to suspect that not everything is as it seems, and somebody in this tense situation isn’t being truthful.

‘Strip Law’
Netflix’s stable of adult-oriented animation grows larger this week with “Strip Law.” With its cast of eccentric characters, outlandish (seemingly rather juvenile) humor and cookie-cutter animation style, it’s certainly not breaking new ground for the subgenre. However, with Adam Scott and Janelle James voicing the leads, I’m at least hopeful the VO quality will be a cut above some of its contemporaries.
Lincoln Gumb (Scott) is an uptight lawyer working in the madcap world of the Las Vegas legal scene. Struggling to win the stupidest cases the city can throw at him, he teams up with a local street magician, Sheila Flambé (James), to form an unorthodox partnership. I’m doing my best not to pre-judge this one, but from the trailer, “Strip Law” looks like it leans a little too hard on irrelevant comedy, but perhaps there’s more to this silly series than meets the eye.
