This week on Netflix, "Bridgerton" is back in the spotlight. The alternate history romance series is back to wrap up its fourth season, and it seems like the streaming service is clearing out this week to give it room to breathe. There are only five shows, movies and comedy specials on the calendar between now and March 1.
Admittedly, that's partially because Netflix has yet to reveal what's coming in March. Once we get that information, we'll update this article accordingly and add a few top picks for you to check out. Until then, here's the full schedule of everything new on Netflix this week, along with my top picks for what you need to stream.
Release Date | Title | Category | Why It's a Must-Watch |
Feb. 24 | "Taylor Tomlinson: Prodigal Daughter" | Stand-up comedy special | Elite stand-up comedian at the peak of her craft |
Feb. 26 | "Bridgerton" season 4 part 2 | Historical romance drama series | Conclusion to the latest season of Netflix's hit romance drama |
Feb. 26 | "Crap Happens" | German comedy series | Unhinged comedy for those who love subtitles |
Feb. 26 | "Brookyln Nine-Nine" seasons 7-8 | Police procedural sitcom series | Final two seasons of a legendary sitcom |
Feb. 27 | "Trap House" | Action thriller movie | Dave Bautista, gun fights and a big heist at the center |

Malcolm has been covering the latest in streaming shows and movies since 2023. Every week, he hunts down the top shows and movies to watch on Netflix.
New on Netflix this week: Top picks
'Bridgerton' season 4 part 2
Genre: Historical romance drama series
What it's about: "Bridgerton" is a romance drama set in an alternate version of the Regency era of British history. Each season, it's centered around a member of the Bridgerton family, and this season, it's Benedict (Luke Thompson) in the spotlight as he tries to woo a mysterious Lady in Silver (Yerin Ha).
Why you should watch it: One of Netflix's biggest hits returns to conclude its fourth season. It's a must-watch for romance drama fans, whether you've already seen the first part of the season or not.
Watch "Bridgerton" season 4 part 2 on Netflix starting Feb. 26
'Crap Happens'
Genre: German comedy series
Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips.
What it's about: Toni is a rapper, and not a good one. But his dreams of hip-hop stardom may get permanently derailed when he's forced to return home to his crazy family and a teenage son he never knew about.
Why you should watch it: This show looks completely absurd. So if you like irreverent comedy shows and don't mind subtitles (or you speak German), then this could be a refreshing change of pace from the normal Netflix fare.
Watch "Crap Happens" on Netflix starting Feb. 26
'Taylor Tomlinson: Prodigal Daughter'
Genre: Stand-up comedy special
What it's about: Taylor Tomlinson returns to Netflix for the fourth time. In this new hour-long special, she promises "a lot of God stuff and a lot of gay stuff," and based on the trailer, it looks like she delivers on both.
Why you should watch it: If you're not already aware of Tomlinson, your younger relatives probably are. She's become a hit on Netflix, but she's a massive star on TikTok. So watch "Prodigal Daughter" to see what the fuss is all about; you won't be disappointed.
Watch "Taylor Tomlinson: Prodigal Daughter" on Netflix starting Feb. 24
'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' seasons 7-8
Genre: Police procedural sitcom show
What it's about: "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" is a workplace comedy that revolves around seven NYPD detectives, including Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg). They're led by the no-nonsense Captain Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher), and hilarity ensues.
Why you should watch it: This show is yet another hit from Michael Schur, who you know from "The Office," "Parks and Recreation" and "The Good Place." So if you liked any of those shows, watching "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" is a no-brainer.
Watch "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" seasons 7-8 on Netflix starting Feb. 26
'Trap House'
Genre: Action thriller movie
What it's about: A group of teenage kids led by Cody (Jack Champion) decides to rob a drug cartel "trap house." Now, the DEA is hunting them down, led by Cody's dad, DEA Agent Ray Seale.
Why you should watch it: If you want an action thriller that doesn't take itself too seriously or just like watching Dave Bautista in an action movie, "Trap House" is worth adding to your watchlist this week.
Watch "Trap House" on Netflix starting Feb. 27
