Presidents' Day is a busy weekend for big-time savings, but many of the best Presidents' Day sales are already available ahead of the weekend. This is especially true for TVs, as many of the biggest brands in the industry are slashing prices before the release of their newest models in the coming months.

Such is the case with the LG B5 OLED. Thanks to a sensational, OLED-driven picture and a laundry list of features, this entry-level set was already overflowing with value coming into 2026. But right now, you can land the 65-inch LG B5 for just $999 at Best Buy ahead of the holiday weekend. That's $1,000 off its usual price, and easily one of the best TV deals you'll come across this week.

LG 65" B5 4K OLED TV: was $1,999 now $999 at Best Buy

Looking for an incredible OLED picture without the high price? The LG B5 is the perfect pick. It's not as bright as higher-end OLED TVs, but you still get to bask in the glory of OLED display technology. Dedicated gamers will appreciate the B5's array of sought-after features, which includes four HDMI 2.1 inputs, support for 4K gaming at 120Hz, VRR and FreeSync.

The LG B5 is all about value. It may not be as bright or as colorful as higher-end OLEDs, but it still comes with a boat load of performance-related benefits that you'll only get with OLED display technology.

Each of the LG B5's millions of pixels is self-illuminating, which has a tremendously positive impact on the TV's picture. In addition to its perfect black levels, the B5 isn't saddled with the distracting, bluish light bloom frequently seen on backlit LED TVs.

It's true that higher-end OLEDs offer better brightness than the B5, but you're still getting OLED-driven performance for relatively reasonable price. In other words, I'd rather spend a little more on the B5 than a backlit LED TV that gets brighter than the B5.

The B5 offers many of the same features you'll find on higher-end OLEDs like the C5 and the G5.

But my favorite aspect of the B5 is that it offers many of the same features you'll find on higher-end OLEDs like the LG C5 and the LG G5.

With the B5, casual and dedicated gamers are getting basically everything they need to make the most of current-gen consoles. It supports 4K gaming at 120Hz and comes with Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM), Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), AMD FreeSync and G-Sync compatibility. Crucially, all four of the LG B5's HDMI inputs offer HDMI 2.1 compatibility, so these features are available across all of the TV's ports.

The B5 also comes with LG's webOS smart platform built right into the software. It's admittedly not my favorite smart platform, but it's super easy to switch from webOS to Roku if you're looking for a more straightforward streaming experience.

With deep discounts in play ahead of Presidents' Day weekend, the LG B5 is one of the best LG OLED TVs you can get on sale right now. It's a worthwhile compromise for folks who want a 65-inch OLED TV without the high sticker price.
