The first retail holiday of 2026 is a week away. Presidents' Day doesn't get the attention of say, Black Friday, but I consider it a major retail holiday and a terrific opportunity to make any big — or small — purchases you've been holding off on.
I've been covering Presidents' Day sales for over 15 years and this year I'm making a few big-ticket purchases myself. My wife and I recently moved into a new apartment and we're on the hunt for new furniture, a soundbar, and a few smart home gadgets to fully automize our new space.
If you're looking for the biggest variety of deals, Amazon is taking 50% off Ninja, Blink, and Apple devices. Standout deals include $100 off the Apple Watch 11, our favorite Blink cameras from $17, and Ninja appliances from $69.
Presidents' Day sales are great if you need new bedding. Everything from mattresses to duvets get deep discounts. For example, the Nectar Premier Hybrid Mattress is on sale from $799. I've been sleeping on this mattress for over a year and love how it supports my body like a coil-based bed, but still offers the subtle hug-like comforts of memory foam. (Check out our full guide to the best Presidents Day mattress sales for more deals).
Below I've rounded up the best early deals you can shop this week. You can also check out our full guide to the best Presidents Day sales and the best Presidents' Day sales under $50.

TV sale: deals from $59 @ Amazon
The Super Bowl may be over, but the Olympics are just getting started. Plus, the World Cup will be here before you know it. If you're looking for a TV upgrade, Amazon has smart TVs on sale for as low as $59. Keep in mind, the cheap TVs tend to be smaller models (which are more suitable for a children's room or guest room). However, the sale also includes larger sets.

Skechers shoes/apparel: from $16 @ Amazon

The QM5K has built-in Google TV features for all of your streaming needs, plus Dolby Vision support. Its handiest feature is its Mini-LED backlighting, which is difficult to find at this price point. If you're going to shop in this price range, I recommend going with the QM5K over a super-cheap TV from a brand like Insignia or Onn.

Sony's Bravia 2 II (read as "mark two") launched in 2025, offering budget pricing on an LED screen. While it may not boast sophisticated display technology, it is equipped with special PS5 features that enhance visuals for gamers, and it's kitted with Google TV, so you have access to all your favorite content, plus tons of free channels.

Samsung's most affordable OLED TV of 2025 may not be as much of a showstopper as the brand's flagship-level S95F, but it's priced well for a 65-inch OLED TV. It also comes with a useful array of gaming enhancements and streaming features. It's gone up a bit since Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but is still under $1,000, making it a hard bargain to beat.

Our best mattress in a box, the DreamCloud doesn't have the versatility (or the luxury finish) of the Saatva Classic, but it offers exceptional full-body support and quilted cushioning that's ideal for side sleepers. A queen is $699 in the DreamCloud mattress sale and that's the standard offer — we'll be surprised if it gets any cheaper on Presidents' Day. Plus, if you buy now you'll also get a free bedding bundle. An added bonus for a bed we described as "unbeatable value" in our DreamCloud Classic Hybrid Mattress review.

The Nectar Premier Hybrid is a 13-inch tall mattress that uses cooling fibers and open coils to create a breathable feel. Like all the best hybrid mattresses, the Premier Hybrid has a supportive coil base while those plush Nectar foams provide superior pressure relief. We haven't tested this current model, but you can learn about the previous iteration with our Nectar Premier Hybrid mattress review. It's well priced for a hybrid from one of the best mattress in a box brands, with a queen now $1,099 (was $2,496.)

The Helix mattress sale typically offers 20% but you can save 27% this Presidents' Day by entering code "TOMS27" at checkout. This reduces the Midnight Luxe, the best mattress for side sleepers we've tested, to $1,751 for a queen (was $2,398.) The exceptional pressure relief stood out in our Helix Midnight Luxe mattress review but this bed is strong all-round, although stomach sleepers might prefer the Helix Dusk Luxe mattress.

We were so impressed during our Saatva Classic mattress review that we gave this bed a perfect score, awarding it high marks for temperature regulation, edge support and full body comfort. The patented lumbar zone spinal wire helps relieve aches and pains while the variety of firmness options means it suits most people. No wonder we declared it the best hybrid mattress you can buy online The current $400 off deal is our favorite Saatva mattress sale — and the same one we spotted over Black Friday — bringing a twin down to $999 and a queen is $1,779. Plus, a 365-night trial and lifetime warranty is included.

I'm no top chef, but now that we have a spacious kitchen, I'd like to try to make more home cooked meals. That's why the Ninja Foodi Possible Cooker Pro is on my list of things to buy. Designed to de-clutter your kitchen, this multi-cooker is a tour-de-force when it comes to versatility. It has: slow cook, saute, braise, white rice, brown rice, oats, and pasta settings, eradicating the need for separate appliances.

The X3 is a premium ergonomic office chair that combines a breathable mesh backrest with a cushioned foam seat for improved comfort and ergonomics. The standard model will get the job done, but optional accessories like a headrest and even a massage unit are tempting — although they raise its price even further. I've been using it for the past year and find it does an amazing job supporting my 6'3" and 235-lb. frame. It's comfortable if you sit for hours and it has a modern, stylish look.
