My favorite 3-in-1 MagSafe charger is finally on sale at 33% off for Prime Day — and it has one killer feature

I’ve tested dozens of new MagSafe chargers this year, but only one has remained on my desk — the Mophie 3-in-1 Extendable MagSafe Stand. Although it functions like many other MagSafe chargers I test, it’s the only one that has an adjustable telescoping stand. There are a lot of 3-in-1 chargers that can simultaneously charge your iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch. What makes Mophie's better than most others is the fact that it’s solidly constructed, composed of a sturdy, weighted steel base. It doesn’t feel like some other cheap MagSafe chargers made out of mostly plastic.

Newer MagSafe chargers have faster 25W wireless speeds, but the Mophie 3-in-1 Extendable MagSafe Stand tops out at 15W. That’s slower, but I don’t mind because it’s on my desk to top off when I need it. The battery life on my iPhone 16 Pro Max is good enough to last me through most of my day.

The coolest part about the Mophie 3-in-1 Extendable MagSafe Stand is the telescoping stand that lets it adjust from 7.5 inches to 16 inches. You might be wondering what the purpose of having an adjustable stand like this is, but I’ve found it invaluable for a number of reasons. First of all, it allows me to prop my iPhone at a better height for video calls. Instead of people seeing my face from the unflattering bottom-up angle, I typically keep it face level.

This makes the proportions of my face look much more natural, while it also makes for the perfect stand for watching videos while I work. This adjustable stand also makes it better to record videos of myself. And when I place my iPhone into landscape, I can readily access StandBy Mode much more easily as well.

I haven't come across any MagSafe charger that does this, so this is the one defining feature of Mophie's 3-in-1 charger. At first, I didn't think I had much use for the telescoping function, but it grew on me over time. That also explains why it's been the only MagSafe charger that's been on my desk for the last year.
