November is here, and that means Prime Video like all the best streaming services — is adding tons of new shows and movies to its catalog. That includes new original shows and movies, classic films and even some live sports. Prime Video is now home to NBA games as well as NFL games, so it's never been more important to look at the schedule for everything coming to Prime Video this month.

When it comes to the top picks for November, though, it's all about new Prime originals. "Playdate" is a new action comedy starring Kevin James as Brian, an unemployed accountant who gets much more than he bargains for when his son starts hanging out with his new friend C.J. This leads him to strike up a friendship with C.J.'s dad, Jeff (Alan Ritchson), and that gets the four of them into all sorts of trouble.

Brian (Kevin James) is just a new stepdad trying to connect with his new stepson, Lucas (Benjamin Pajak). It's not easy, but things seem to take a turn for the better once Lucas meets C.J. and makes a new best friend.

There's just one problem. C.J. isn't just some kid, and his dad, Jeff, definitely isn't just some stay-at-home dad. In fact, Jeff isn't even C.J.'s dad at all, but instead some sort of secret agent placed with C.J. to keep him safe. So if your idea of a fun time at the park is less about throwing the football and more about explosions and high-speed chases, then "Playdate" is a must-watch movie on Prime this month.

Who doesn't love a good old-fashioned psychological thriller about a mysterious newcomer who tears apart a family from the inside? Starring Jack Whitehall and David Duchovny, "Malice" delivers on exactly that premise, and after watching the trailer, I'm certainly intrigued.

In this new Prime original series, Adam (Whitehall) arrives on the Tanner family vacation to serve as the new nanny for the wealthy family. He's a hit with the kids (and the ladies) and ultimately, family patriarch Jamie Tanner (Duchovny) asks Adam to stay on. Unfortunately for Jamie, that might prove to be a massive mistake, as once Adam is embedded in the Tanner family, he starts to tear it apart from the inside.

If you're a fan of the hit animated Prime Video series "The Legend of Vox Machina," then "The Mighty Nein" is a must-watch. The latest animated series from Critical Role looks like it captures the raunchy, mature tone of its previous show, while creating a whole new world for fans to explore.

Set in the world of Exandria, "The Mighty Nein" centers around a band of misfits brought together by circumstance to fight in a conflict beyond their understanding. Their mission will be to save the realm from dark forces and a powerful relic known only as "The Beacon." If you love a fantasy series or an adult animated show, definitely don't miss out on "The Might Nein" this month.
