Happy (almost) new year! With 2026 comes a ton of shows and movies new on Prime Video. Amazon's streaming service is always loaded with something to watch, and this month is no exception. Among this month's highlights is the return of "The Night Manager," the espionage thriller starring Tom Hiddleston as an ex-British soldier who's recruited by MI-6 to infiltrate the inner circle of a dangerous arms trader (Hugh Laurie).

On the film end of the spectrum, the platform will welcome several starry titles to its already sprawling library, including "Steal," a high-octane heist drama starring "Game of Thrones" alum Sophie Turner, and action-comedy "The Wrecking Crew," featuring the well-muscled duo of Dave Bautista and Jason Momoa as estranged half-brothers orced to reunite after their father’s mysterious death.

Based on John le Carre's bestselling 1993 novel, "The Night Manager" was a big hit with critics and audiences alike the first time around in 2016. It won two Emmys as well as three Golden Globes for actors Tom Hiddleston, Hugh Laurie and Olivia Colman. Now, a decade later, the British spy thriller is back for its long-awaited sophomore season.

"Jonathan Pine (Tom Hiddleston) thought he’d buried his past. Now living as Alex Goodwin — a low-level MI6 officer running a quiet surveillance unit in London — his life is comfortingly uneventful," reads the season's official logline, per Prime Video. "Then one night, a chance sighting of an old Roper mercenary prompts a call to action and leads Pine to a violent encounter with a new player: Colombian businessman Teddy Dos Santos (Diego Calva)."

That leads Pine to Colombia, where he's "plunged deep into a deadly plot involving arms and the training of a guerrilla army," the synopsis continues. "As allegiances splinter, Pine races to expose a conspiracy designed to destabilize a nation. And with betrayal at every turn, he must decide whose trust he needs to earn and how far he’s willing to go before it’s too late."

For Sophie Turner's Zara, it's just a normal day at the office. That is, until she finds herself at the center of a dangerous heist. When her workday at pension fund investment company Lochmill Capital is upended by a gang of violent thieves, Zara and her best mate Luke (Archie Madekwe) are forced to execute their demands.

"But who would steal billions of pounds of ordinary people’s pensions and why? DCI Rhys (Jacob Fortune-Lloyd) is determined to find out," reads the movie description. "Still, as a recently relapsed gambling addict, Rhys must keep his own money problems at bay while dealing with the secret agendas and competing interests at the center of this far-reaching crime."

Two of Hollywood's biggest action stars, Dave Bautista and Jason Momoa, join formidable forces for this Hawaii-set action comedy. They play half-brothers Jonny (Momoa) and James (Bautista), who are forced to face their fractured siblinghood after the mysterious death of their father. As they set out to uncover the truth of what actually happened to dad, buried secrets resurface and loyalties are tested, unveiling a conspiracy that can tear their family apart.

Along with those leading lads (who are both producers on the title as well), "The Wrecking Crew" cast also includes Claes Bang, Jacob Batalon, Stephen Root, and Morena Baccarin. Angel Manuel Soto ("Blue Beetle") directs.
