If you're looking to spend the weekend racing through a new Prime Video TV show, you're in luck: Amazon's streaming service is already home to a range of great new shows and movies, and new releases are never far away. If you'd prefer to avoid scrolling through categories and genres and just get straight to streaming something new this weekend, I've got some timely Prime Video streaming recommendations perfect for binge-watching this weekend.
After scrolling through everything that's new on Prime Video this January, I've highlighted just a couple of recent additions (plus one upcoming watch that premieres this weekend) that you may want on your radar. Here's what to watch on Prime Video this weekend.
'Chicago P.D.'
Sure, you can't stream this much TV in one weekend, but given Prime Video recently got the first 12 seasons of police procedural "Chicago P.D.", it feels like one of the biggest binge-watches to come to the streamer in recent memory.
The streamer welcomed the first dozen seasons of "Law & Order" creator Dick Wolf's "Chicago P.D." on January 1. It's the second series from the "One Chicago" franchise, and it premiered back in January 2014. Across more than 250 episodes, the series has followed members from the Chicago Police Department's 21st District and officers and members of Sergeant Hank Voight's (Jason Beghe) elite Intelligence Unit as they tackle all kinds of crimes across the city.

'Fallout' season 2
We're now halfway through "Fallout" season 2, and the hit video game adaptation has proven to be one of the streamer's best exclusives. The new season picks up from where we left off, and continues to follow Lucy (Ella Purnell), Cooper Howard/The Ghoul (Walton Goggins), and Maximus (Aaron Moten) as they continue their respective journeys across the franchise's uniquely chaotic post-apocalyptic nuclear Wasteland.
At present, we're now halfway through "Fallout" season 2(though a third's already in the works), and that means you've got plenty of episodes to fit in this weekend if you aren't following along already.

'The Night Manager'
10 years after we first met him, Tom Hiddleston's suave hotel manager-turned-undercover agent is back in action this weekend, as the critically acclaimed spy thriller "The Night Manager" is heading back to our screens with a three-episode drop on Prime Video on Sunday. Oh, and if this is the first time you've heard of it, you could always binge-watch the first season in full, too; it's only six episodes long.
This new season (which already premiered in the UK) finds Jonathan Pine (Hiddleston) leading a new life as Alex Goodwin, a low-level MI6 officer who runs a surveillance unit in London. That relatively simple existence is upended after a chance sighting of one of Richard Roper's old mercenaries. Having spied one of his old foe's friends out in the field, Pine/Goodwin leaps into action.
Cue another deadly undercover op, wherein he tries to infiltrate the inner circle of a dangerous new player, Colombian businessman Teddy Dos Santons (Diego Calva), with the reluctant assistance of one of Teddy's associates, Roxana Bolaños (Camila Morrone).
Stream "The Night Manager" on Prime Video from Sunday, Jan. 11

If it’s in the theaters or available to stream somewhere, he’s probably watched it… especially if it has a dragon in it. Before joining the team, he was a Staff Writer at What To Watch where he wrote about a broad range of shows that stretched from "Doctor Who" and "The Witcher" to "Bridgerton" and "Love Island". When he’s not watching the next must-see movie or show, he’s probably still in front of a screen playing massive RPGs, reading, spending a fortune on TCGs, or watching the NFL.
