If your weekend plans include getting lost in a new TV series on Prime Video, you’re in luck. Amazon’s streaming service has a solid lineup of fresh shows and movies, with new releases arriving all the time.

But for those who would rather skip the endless scrolling through genres and jump straight into something new, I’ve rounded up a few timely Prime Video picks that are perfect for binge-watching over the weekend. After going through everything that’s recently dropped this January, here are some highlights (including one series with brand new episodes) that are worth checking out.

‘Wild Cards’

If you’re in the mood for a binge-worthy series to wrap up your week, “Wild Cards” could be the perfect pick. Its first season arrived on Prime Video in January 2025, and now season 2 has just dropped this month in a similar fashion. The series may be unfamiliar to some viewers, since it originally premiered as a Canadian production, with season 3 just beginning its broadcast run in Canada (so it may be a while before those episodes reach the service). Still, fans of shows like “Castle” or “High Potential” will likely want to add “Wild Cards” to their watchlist.

Cole Ellis (Giacomo Gianniotti) was a once‑respected detective who's been demoted to maritime duty after a setback in his career. When he’s tasked with transporting Max Mitchell (Vanessa Morgan), a quick‑witted con artist recently arrested, she unexpectedly helps him crack a crime while they’re still at the station. Their success leads to an unusual deal: Ellis might regain his detective title, and Max could avoid jail, but only if they continue working together. Using Max’s street smarts and Ellis’s police experience, the unlikely pair tackles cases that challenge their skills and collaboration.

‘Spring Fever’

With winter in full swing, the days are bitterly cold and the nights perfect for curling up and staying warm. Sometimes, all you need is a sweet romantic story to brighten things up. Prime Video delivers just that with its new original, “Spring Fever.” True to its name, the series follows love blossoming as the seasons change. While this Korean drama leans on the familiar trope of a reserved, chilly man opening up thanks to a warm-hearted woman, it makes for a cozy, perfectly timed watch for the heart of winter.

“Spring Fever” follows Yoon Bom (Lee Joo-bin), a former Seoul teacher who moves to the quiet coastal town of Sinsu and begins working at a local high school after stepping away from her previous life. In Sinsu, her routine takes an unexpected turn when she crosses paths with Seon Jae‑gyu (Ahn Bo-hyun), a striking and unpredictable local man whose presence stirs curiosity in the village and draws Bom out of her shell. As they interact with students, townspeople, and each other, both Bom and Jae‑gyu confront new experiences and evolving relationships over the course of the series.

‘The Night Manager’

It’s pretty rare for a series to make a comeback a decade after its original release, but “The Night Manager” proves that strong writing and exceptional performances can endure. When it first aired in 2016, the limited series earned huge acclaim and collected multiple Emmy and Golden Globe awards. Nearly 10 years later, the show returned, with seasons 2 and 3 officially confirmed in 2024. With the first three episodes of season 2 now streaming, it’s a great time to catch up if you haven’t yet, and a new episode is set to drop this Sunday.

“The Night Manager” follows Jonathan Pine (Tom Hiddleston), a former British soldier working as a night manager at a luxury hotel. After coming into possession of information about illegal international arms deals, he is approached by a covert intelligence operative who asks him to help gather evidence on a powerful arms dealer. Pine agrees and begins operating undercover, infiltrating the inner circle of dangerous figures while maintaining his hotel role.
