How does Travis Kelce sleep at night? On his Sleep Number Bed — all models are up to 20% off in the 4th of July sales
Sleep like pop culture royalty at a discount — prices start at $999
Sleep Number has been making headlines this year. NFL tight end Travis Kelce — yes, the newly minted Mr. Taylor Swift himself — entered a strategic partnership with the sleep company in January.
Then, in March, Sleep Number refreshed its entire lineup of smart beds, all of which are discounted during its 4th of July sale. The standout offer is 20% off the Sleep Number ComfortNext Smart Bed, with a queen-size on sale for $2,399 (from $2,999). You can also add a free bed base, up to a $549 value.
We're currently testing the ComfortNext, so stay tuned for our full review to see where it lands among our best mattresses of 2026. What we can tell you is that it includes the signature features we've come to expect and appreciate from Sleep Number, including adjustable firmness and sleep tracking.
If you can't wait for our ComfortNext review, you can take Mr. Kelce's word for it instead, or browse the rest of the 4th of July mattress sales for other great sleep deals.

This is the base model of the mid-tier ComfortNext Collection. It's a hybrid of foam, spring, and adjustable air chambers, so you can make the bed as soft or firm as you need it. Sleep Number's integrated sleep tracking is also included, with no subscription fee required. For the 4th of July, Sleep Number is cutting 25% off the ComfortNext, which drops the price of a queen to $2,399 (was $2,999). Add a foundation for free, or an adjustable base at a reduced cost.
Note that delivery is not included and adds at least $250 to the final price.

Is it safe to buy a Sleep Number bed right now?
The headlines haven't all been pleasant. In case you missed it, Sleep Number recently filed for bankruptcy amidst declining sales and other financial troubles. Sleep Country Canada will likely be acquiring the brand.
Sleep Number aims to close the sale by the end of July, although it's currently open to higher bids. An auction is planned for July 13, should Sleep Number accept a better offer.
As it stands now, Sleep Number is looking ahead to its potential partnership with Sleep Country Canada — so what does that mean for current and future Sleep Number customers?
In a statement to Tom's Guide, a Sleep Number spokesperson said, "Sleep Number is operating as usual and remains focused on serving its customers and helping them achieve their best sleep. Now and following the close of the transaction, customers will continue to experience the same Sleep Number products, services, and support they know today."
In other words, don't expect any disruptions — to your sleep or otherwise — during the sale process. You'll still be able to make purchases, use the Sleep Number app, and reach out to customer service. Your 100-night trial and 10-year warranty will be honored, as well.
With that said, here's what else is worth browsing in Sleep Number's 4th of July sale...
For ultimate temperature control...
The Climate360 came out in 2022 and remains Sleep Number's top-of-the-line smart bed. You can adjust the surface temperature to make it as cool or warm as you need it, by as much as 30°F. (And it has a foot warmer so you can ditch your socks.) It's also the only Sleep Number bed to come with a smart adjustable base as standard. If you're tired of fussing with your thermostat, it's well worth the investment. All sizes are 15% off for the 4th of July. Note that delivery is not included and starts at $250.

For a no-frills approach...
The ComfortMode is a no-frills approach to sleep tech, as it doesn't require an app or a WiFi connection to operate — just a remote control to adjust the firmness. This is purely designed for customizable comfort, and made for sleepers who truly want to disconnect from tech before bed. All sizes of the ComfortMode are $100 off for the 4th of July, bringing a queen-size to $1,499 (was $1,599). Add a foundation for free, or an adjustable base for a reduced cost. Note that delivery is not included and adds at least $250.
