My cats tested this smart water fountain for a month — and now it’s 53% off for Prime Day
And it's battery powered to stay on even when the power goes out at home

I ditched the usual water bowl years ago after discovering the advantages of an automatic water fountain for my cats. Not only do they have a steady stream of water to consume whenever they please, but it’s also filtered to remove any debris and other unseen impurities that may be in the water. Just recently, though, I’ve upgraded them to something better — a smart water fountain, which they’ve been testing for a month.
Although it functions just like our previous water fountain, the Petlibro Dockstream Smart Water Fountain has some extra features that my cats have found useful. Better yet, it’s at an incredible discount for Prime Day. Normally $99, the Petlibro Dockstream is now $47 after a 53% off instant discount for Prime Day. They love it just as much as the best robotic cat litter boxes they've tested.
Stop having to refill your cat's water bowl because the Petlibro Dockstream Smart Water Fountain has a large container that deliver fresh water for days. Plus, it's battery powered to remain on even when the power goes out at home.
Before I explain why my cats love using the Petlibro Dockstream Smart Water Fountain, I want to quickly talk about how easy it is to clean it. There are basically three components to it: the plastic container that holds the water, the stainless steel tray, and parts that make up the spout. What I like is that it’s super easy to take apart and clean, especially when it comes included with tiny brushes that make it a breeze to get into all the tight spaces around the filter area.
If you live in a multi-cat household like myself, you’ll appreciate the 2.5L water tank capacity it offers. When you have thirsty cats like to drink on average about 19.57 ounces of water daily according to the app, it’s nice to have enough water to last them 4 days. My cats also love that it runs quietly, so coming up to the fountain is never scary for them.
Since the Petlibro Dockstream Smart Water Fountain connects to my home’s Wi-Fi network, the app sends me notifications whenever it senses one of them drinking — along with how much they consumed and the time they do it. I find this information helpful because it shows me how much one of my cats drinks water after they finish their meal, who happens to be diabetic and has a habit of drinking a lot.
It’s also worth pointing out that the Petlibro Dockstream Smart Water Fountain is battery powered. In order to make its 5,000 mAh battery last as long as possible, it relies on a proximity sensor to activate the fountain when it senses nearby motion. Otherwise, it remains powered off and turns on intermittently to move the water around so it’s not stagnant.
All of the information it gathers provides me with helpful insights about my cats’ habits. Through the Petlibro app I can see how much they consume and whether or not they exceeded their goals for the day. If you’re been waiting and don’t like having to refill water bowls daily, now’s an excellent time to get a deal on our favorite water fountain.
