Philo just launched two new live TV streaming plans starting at just $25 a month — and there's a free trial

Philo has long been a contender for best live TV streaming service for a simple reason: It offers the most TV for the least money. It used to offer 70+ channels, including MTV, Paramount Network and more, for just $25 a month. It even used to throw in AMC+ for free.

This is about giving customers genuine choice. Essential reflects our commitment to keeping live TV accessible and affordable, and doing it without compromise. Bundle+ is for viewers who want more, and we've made it easy to upgrade at any time. Both plans reflect where we're headed as a company: building a platform that meets customers where they are, at every stage.

Starting today (March 10), Philo is eliminating the Philo Core plan and replacing it with Philo Bundle+. The name is changing, but the substance is the same: 70+ live channels, HBO Max, AMC+ and Discovery+ for $33 a month. Philo is also launching a brand new plan: Philo Essential. This is essentially what Philo used to be — 70+ live channels for just $25 a month.

Philo: $25 at Philo

Philo Essential is great if you want entertainment, offering 70-plus channels, tons of on-demand shows and movies for just $25. Plus, you can add HBO Max (basic with ads), AMC+ and Discovery+ for just $8 more with Philo Bundle+ (no free trial for Bundle+).

There's even better news, though. In addition to once again offering a plan for just $25 a month, Philo is also bringing back its seven-day free trial. If you sign up for Philo Essential, you can try it out for no charge for an entire week. Philo Bundle+ doesn't offer a free trial, but this way you can still try out the main offering before deciding if you want to add a few streaming services to your Philo plan.
