How “real-time” is the series?

Each minute of screen time broadly reflects a minute during the disaster, spanning from shortly after 11:00 p.m. to the ship’s disappearance at 2:20 a.m., including the 11:40 p.m. iceberg collision.

The production was shot at Studio Ulster in Belfast, using advanced virtual production to extend sets in-camera, delivering a large-scale recreation with minimal reliance on traditional CGI.
