How to watch Vuelta a España 2025: live stream cycling online from anywhere
Spain's showpiece cycling event gets started in Italy as it marks its 90th birthday this year

The Vuelta a España 2025 turns 90 this year and, like any nonagenarian worth their salt, it is to be respected and feared in equal measure. The field will be expected to traverse nearly 2,000 miles over 21 stages and four countries during the course of three painful weeks.
Want to watch it live? Here's how to watch Vuelta a España live streams, free, and from anywhere with a VPN.
Vuelta a España 2025 live streams take place between Saturday, Aug. 23 and Sunday, Sep. 14. See full stage schedule below.
• FREE STREAMS — SBS On Demand (Australia) | RTVE Play (Spain)
• U.S. — Watch on CNBC via Sling TV/Peacock
• Canada — Watch on FloBikes
• U.K. — Watch on Discovery Plus
• Watch anywhere — Try NordVPN (100% risk-free)
Without the reigning champion (Primož Roglič) or world no.1 (Tadej Pogačar), there's a big opportunity for the rest to stake a claim at a Grand Tour victory. Jonas Vingegaard goes in as clear favorite to add the Vuelta to his two Tour de France wins, while Juan Ayuso leads Spain's hopes of a first home champion since Alberto Contador 12 years ago.
Despite the name, Stage 1 of this year's Vuelta a España actually takes place in Italy, as the event makes its start from the historic city of Turin. A flatter leg than many on this year's route, it gives the field's better sprinters a rare chance to fight for the Red Jersey.
Saturday's Turin to Novara Stage 1 starts at 12:55 p.m local time (6:55 a.m. ET / 11:55 a.m. BST) and is expected to finish around 5.20 p.m. local time (11:20 a.m. ET / 4:20 p.m. BST)
