We now know that "Landman" season 2 gets back in business this fall, as Paramount Plus has confirmed the Taylor Sheridan series is set to return this November.
On Wednesday, August 13, the streaming service revealed that the popular series' second season would premiere on Sunday, November 16.
Alongside this announcement, the streamer released a short teaser that quite literally raises the bar, as we zoom in on a rising pressure gauge set to enter the red zone amid shouts of alarm. Check it out below:
Back in May, Paramount confirmed "Landman" season 2 had a November release window, but this now means we know precisely when the show will arrive.
Paramount will no doubt be hoping for a repeat of the success it bagged from the first season. Despite being overlooked by the Emmys 2025 nominations, the show was a huge hit for Paramount Plus.
The series premiere bagged 35 million global streaming viewers, and the show became the No. 1 Paramount Plus original ever launched on the service, to date.
What do we know about 'Landman' season 2 right now?
Plot details about the new season are thin on the ground, but fans will doubtless want to see what's in store after that shocking death in that season 1 finale (and an exciting cameo appearance from a new cast member).
Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips.
Alongside Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore, we also know that Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie and James Jordan are all due to return for "Landman" season 2.
Plus, there are a couple of new faces either joining or being stepped up for the show's sophomore outing. Colm Feore is graduating from guest star to series regular as straight-laced attorney, Nathan, while Andy Garcia is also on board for the next season. Oscar nominee Sam Elliott is also due to appear in an undisclosed role.

If it’s in the theaters or available to stream somewhere, he’s probably watched it… especially if it has a dragon in it. Before joining the team, he was a Staff Writer at What To Watch where he wrote about a broad range of shows that stretched from "Doctor Who" and "The Witcher" to "Bridgerton" and "Love Island". When he’s not watching the next must-see movie or show, he’s probably still in front of a screen playing massive RPGs, reading, spending a fortune on TCGs, or watching the NFL.
