Finding your next watch on Netflix shouldn’t feel like endless scrolling. The trending section might offer some solid picks, but not everything sitting in the top 10 is guaranteed to be worth it. That’s exactly why we track the Netflix streaming charts. Each week, we cut the top 10 down to three worthy picks, making sure you’ve got an easy set of recommendations ready when you need something new.
This week, that includes the second season of a revenge-fueled comedy-drama, a chilling documentary centered around a cult, and a hilarious crime series from Dan Levy. More details on each of the three picks can be found below, alongside a full look at everything in the Netflix top 10 shows list currently.

‘Beef’
After three years away, “Beef” makes its return on Netflix with a reworked anthology approach for season 2. Swapping in a fresh cast led by Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton, and Cailee Spaeny, the series drops them into a tightly wound scenario primed to unravel. Having seen all eight episodes myself, I can confirm the drama hits even harder this time around.
“Beef” season 2 follows two couples whose lives collide inside an exclusive country club. Newly engaged employees Ashley (Spaeny) and Austin (Melton) witness a violent argument between their boss, Josh (Isaac), and his wife, Lindsay (Mulligan). Ashley secretly records the fight and uses it to blackmail the couple for money and job opportunities. As Josh struggles with financial pressure and begins embezzling from the club, both couples find themselves locked in a growing cycle of deceit.

‘Trust Me: The False Prophet’
Netflix’s latest true crime obsession has arrived in the form of “Trust Me: The False Prophet.” The four-part docuseries broke into the top of the charts on Netflix just two days after premiering, and while it doesn’t reshape the genre, it examines a deeply unsettling manipulation case. It’s a chilling and disturbing experience that will leave you visibly unsettled.

“Trust Me: The False Prophet” follows cult expert Christine Marie and filmmaker Tolga Katas as they move into a remote Utah community tied to the Fundamentalist Latter-Day Saints. While documenting life inside the sect, they encounter Samuel Bateman, a former member who claims religious authority and begins building his own following. Embedding themselves deeper, Christine and Tolga secretly record conversations, gather evidence, and convince Bateman they are making a harmless documentary.

'Big Mistakes'
There’s a clear divide between “Big Mistakes” and Dan Levy’s earlier work “Schitt’s Creek,” though both rely on fast-paced comedic energy. The show is entirely dependent on its cast though. While the whole ensemble is impressive, the standout relationship is between Levy and Taylor Ortega as Nicky and Morgan. They shine as siblings, with much of the comedy coming from their fully realized performances.
“Big Mistakes” follows siblings Nicky (Levy) and Morgan (Ortega), who find themselves blackmailed into working for dangerous criminals after a botched incident involving a valuable necklace. With no experience or plan, they’re forced into carrying out increasingly risky tasks while trying to keep their family life from collapsing around them. They’re soon pulled into mounting criminal operations, struggling to stay ahead of the people controlling them.
