It’s finally April, and we’re not fooling you — the new lineup on Hulu is stacked. This month’s schedule is rife with heavy hitters, featuring the return of a beloved ‘90s sitcom, a chilling dystopian sequel and a horror flick that’ll have you looking at your pets a little differently.
The drama kicks off April 8 with "The Testaments," the long-awaited follow-up to "The Handmaid’s Tale." The series follows Agnes and Daisy as they come of age within the walls of Gilead and begin to challenge the world around them. For something lighter, look to April 10, when "Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair" brings the family back for a four-episode revival centered on Hal and Lois’ 40th anniversary.
If you’re looking for a scare, mark your calendar for April 26. "Good Boy" offers a fresh take on the haunted-house trope, told entirely through the eyes of a dog who realizes something sinister is lurking in his home. Need more? We’ve got everything new on Hulu mapped out for you below, so get ready to queue up a whole new month of streaming.

'The Testaments'
In this sequel to "The Handmaid's Tale," teens Agnes (Chase Infiniti) and Daisy (Lucy Halliday) come of age in Gilead. Agnes has been raised to be dutiful and devout, while Daisy arrives from beyond Gilead’s borders in Canada and must adjust to her new reality. Set within Aunt Lydia’s (Ann Dowd) elite school for future wives, this follow-up finds the pair nurturing a growing bond while they begin to challenge everything Gilead stands for and the teachings forced upon them in the dystopian world they live in.

'Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair'
After spending more than a decade keeping his distance from the family chaos, Malcolm (Frankie Muniz) is pulled right back in when Hal (Bryan Cranston) and Lois (Jane Kaczmarek) insist he show up for their 40th anniversary party. This new chapter finds Malcolm trying to protect the life he’s built with his daughter while facing the dysfunction he thought he had left behind. But this is "Malcolm in the Middle," after all, and no one does chaos quite like this family, so you can expect plenty of that to break loose at any moment.

'Good Boy'
Todd (Shane Jensen) and his loyal dog, Indy, move into a secluded rural home as Todd suffers from a chronic illness. Indy quickly senses that something is very wrong. A seemingly malevolent supernatural force creeps throughout the home and Indy becomes the first line of defense against whatever is haunting the house. Told almost completely through the perspective of Indy, this 2025 horror film is a heartrending look at love and loyalty with some pretty terrifying moments throughout. We'll spoil it for you now, though: the dog does not die.
