Need some new earbuds? Hold off until Black Friday — here are five great options I expect to see on sale

Black Friday is just a few weeks away, and with it come all the savings from beer cozies to washing machines. I'm keeping my sights set firmly on the best earbuds and best headphones, and there are some very popular options that I think could well be reduced when the sale comes around.
So hold off on buying any one of these five earbuds options until Black Friday hits properly. The best sales are to be had on the day, after all, so you'll want to keep your powder dry if you're looking for a mega reduction.
Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds gen 2

They're Bose's latest buds, released only a few months ago as of time of writing. That means we're yet to see any savings at all, given their relative newness.
That leaves us with ripe pickings for Black Friday — it's often the time when recently released buds see some form of larger discount. It happened with the AirPods Pro 2 when they first launched, so we're hopeful to see something similar with the QuietComfort Earbuds gen 2.
You'll also really want a pair. They're our pick for the best noise-canceling earbuds, with Bose's noise-canceling model still the very best there is. They're also super comfortable, and while 6 hours of battery life isn't the best around, it's still plenty to get you through the day.

The QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds gen 2 are Bose's latest addition to their excellent earbuds line. They've got the best ANC around, a very comfortable fit, and good sound quality. They fall down slightly with their 6-hour battery life, but they're otherwise excellent buds. Wait to see if we get our first discounts over Black Friday.
AirPods Pro 3

Another brand new pair of buds, the AirPods Pro 3, are yet to see any big discounts as we move further away from their launch. I'm hoping that the AirPods Pro 3 get the AirPods Pro 2 Black Friday treatment, where we see their best price during the biggest sale of the year. I'm not sure what discounts to expect as yet, given a profound lack of data, but I'm hoping for a decent saving.
They're packed full of excellent upgrades as well. The fit has been shifted so that they're more comfortable, and the sound has been changed to be slightly warmer than the old model. They've also recieved improvements to their ANC to make them a more worthwhile addition to the best noise-canceling earbuds than the old model.

The AirPods Pro 3 perfect the AirPods formula. Comfortable fit, excellent sound, and very good ANC. 10 hours of transparency mode battery is exemplary, and their interoperability with the rest of the Apple family is, as always, welcome.
Sony WF-1000XM5

The Sony WF-1000XM5 have been out for a little while now, and we've seen some solid deals on the buds already. We've seen them drop as low as $179 on occasion, making them the flagship bargain of the century. I'm hoping we see another drop to that low when Black Friday rolls around, but anything that brings them to around $200 would be welcome.
The WF-1000XM6 need little introduction. They're Sony's flagship noise-canceling earbuds that topped our list of the best earbuds for a long time. They're comfortable, sound great, block out loads of noise, and last for ages with 8 hours of battery on tap. Watch out for these buds on Black Friday.

Sony's in-ears are excellent, with great ANC and tiny buds that fit very well in the ear. They sound really good too, and their battery life will last you through the day. We've already seen some great deals on them over their lifetime, so we're hoping for something even better over Black Friday.
Bowers & Wilkins Pi8

The Pi8 have recently recieved a price hike, so let's hope that Black Friday brings them a decent discount so that they become at least a little more affordable. They've been out for a little while now, so it's likely they'll get some form of discount during the sale, but it's difficult to say how much — the price hike has made my data go all screwy. Still, a saving of around $50-100 would be appreciated.
If you want the best sound possible, then the Pi8 are the way to go. They sound better than just about everything you might test, with dynamic bass, clear highs, and buckets of detail. They're very comfortable as well, and while 6.5 hours of battery might not be the best, it's still enough to last a work day.

They're not cheap — but the best time to get them for slightly less is over Black Friday. You'll get some of the best-sounding earbuds out of the deal, which fit super comfortably and offer decent ANC.
Soundcore Liberty 4

These buds are actually reduced right now, but I'm hoping that there's an even deeper discount over Black Friday. This is around the lowest price we've seen them, but they've been out a couple of years now, so with a little luck, we'll see them drop in price even more. Another $10 off would make them the Black Friday earbuds deal of the century.
The Liberty 4 are an excellent pair of earbuds for a great price. They're comfortable, sound great, and offer surprisingly good ANC for the price. 8 hours of bud battery means they'll last a long time, and you can charge them plenty with the case to bring that number up to a total of 50 hours. That's some epic battery life.

The Soundcore Liberty 4 are some great budget buds. They sound good for the price, and offer flagship specs for a much lower price. 50 hours total battery is a game changer as well.
