As much as I'd love to have a proper home gym, I simply don't have the space for it. That's why I'm always looking for workout equipment that's highly compact. One of my favorite home gym essentials is BowFlex's new line of adjustable dumbbells. I've been using them for my home workouts since September and they're amazing.

Right now, you can get the BowFlex Results Series 552 SelectTech Adjustable Dumbbells for just $399 at Amazon. That's the cheapest they've ever been and I simply can't recommend them enough. It's easily one of my top Presidents' Day sales today.

BowFlex Results Series 1090 SelectTech Dumbbells (90 lbs. max)
BowFlex Results Series 1090 SelectTech Dumbbells (90 lbs. max): was $479 now $399 at BowFlex

These dumbbells can be adjusted from 10 to 90 lbs. in 5 lb. increments, making them ideal for advanced lifters. They're made of premium metal components with non-slip grips.

There are a lot of things I like about these adjustable dumbbells. First, they're made of metal components with non-slip grips. They can also be adjusted from 5 to 52.5 lbs. in 5 lb. increments, making them ideal for just about any home workout. This is a game changer because that means they take the place of 15 sets of weights all while fitting neatly in the corner of any room.

I've been using them for a few months and they're excellent for curls, deadlifts, goblet squats, and just about any press or pull you can imagine.

That said, there are a few downsides to them. Because they're adjustable dumbbells, they're more sensitive than your typical pair of dumbbells, which means you can't drop them after you finish a set. (Not that you should be dropping dumbbells on the floor if you live in an apartment). They're also wider than your typical dumbbells, so they can be a little awkward to use when doing exercises like skull crushers. Otherwise, I have no complaints about them.

They're rarely on sale, but right now you can get the pair for $399, which is its lowest price ever. If you want to go heavier, the Results Series SelectTech 1090 are on sale for $699 and they can be adjusted from 10 to 90 lbs.

BowFlex also just released the Results Series 52 SelectTech Dumbbells. They can be adjusted from 5 to 52.5 lbs. The only difference between the 52 and the 552 are that this new pair have a rounded profile and come in a black and white color scheme. They're also on sale for $429.
