October Prime Day is official — I've picked the best early deals to shop now

Prime Big Deal Days is just a few days away. Amazon's 48-hour sale starts on October 7th and will feature early Black Friday caliber deals for Prime members only. Expect to see Prime Day deals on everything from running shoes to our favorite Alexa devices.
If you're not familiar with Prime Big Deal Days it's essentially an October Prime Day designed to kick off the holiday season. I've been tracking Prime Day deals for more than a decade and although Prime Big Deal Days isn't quite as popular as July Prime Day, I find it's an excellent opportunity to score some early holiday deals. It's also a great time to find Amazon Prime Day mattress sales.
The best part is you don't have to wait till October 7th to start shopping. Amazon already has a massive sale on Ring, Yeti, Samsung and more. I've gathered my top deals below. Alternatively, for more ways to save, make sure to check out our list of the best Amazon promo codes.

I'm the Editor in Chief of deals at Tom's Guide and I've been covering Amazon deals since the very first Prime Day. From running sneakers to coffee machines, I refuse to pay full price for my purchases and throughout the years I've learned the best times to shop and where to find the best deals. I'll be your guide to the best Amazon deals from now through the end of Prime Big Deal Days.
Top deals now
Lego sale: deals from $8 @ Amazon
The best Lego deals can usually be found in November and December, so I'm a little shocked that so many Lego sets are on sale now. You can get everything from Disney to Star Wars as well as generic sets.
Skechers shoes/apparel: from $27 @ Amazon
Amazon is having a massive Skechers sale right now. The sale includes sneakers and apparel for men, women, and children on sale from $27.
Adidas sale: deals from $9 @ Amazon
Get ready for fall. From hoodies to sneakers, Amazon is offering a wide variety of Adidas deals on men's, women's and children's apparel. After discounts, deals start as low as $9.
YETI sale: deals from $10 @ Amazon
If you're a fan of YETI, you know that a sale doesn't come around often enough. That's why now is the perfect opportunity to save big on drinkware and cooler deals starting at just $10. So don't wait — snag a new cooler or water bottle before these discounts disappear!
Holiday Shop: deals from $6 @ Amazon
Yes, I know it's crazy to shop holiday decor when it's still September, but Amazon has officially unveiled its Holiday Shop. That means now is a good time to purchase a new Xmas tree, holiday decor, or even small stocking stuffers with deals from just $6.
iPhone 17 accessories: from $12 @ Amazon
From Apple's TechWoven Case to Apple's iPhone Air Bumper, Amazon is slashing the price of various iPhone 17 cases and accessories. For example, I purchased this iPhone 17 Pro Silicone Case for just $43 (Apple sells it for $49). After discount, prices start from $19 for cases or $12 for cables/accessories.
Ninja appliance sale: deals from $49 @ Amazon
From blenders to coffee machines, Amazon is taking up to 35% off select Ninja appliances and cookware. The sale include air fryers, personal blenders, indoor grills, and more. After discount, prices start from $49.
TV sale: deals from $69 @ Amazon
Amazon has smart TVs on sale for as low as $69. Keep in mind, the cheap TVs tend to be smaller, 1080p models (which are more suitable for a children's room or guest room). However, the sale also includes larger sets. These are among the cheapest TVs we've seen from Amazon.
Garmin sale: deals from $169 @ Amazon
I have to admit: I wasn't expecting to see a surge in Garmin deals this week. That said, Amazon has various Garmin watches and some accessories on sale from $169. It's not the biggest Garmin sale I've seen this year, but there are some generous discounts on some of our favorite models like the Editor's Choice Forerunner 55 on sale for $169.
The new Galaxy S25 Edge sports a 5.8mm profile, which is 31% thinner than the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It features a 6.7-inch AMOLED QHD+ 120Hz display, Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. It also has a 200MP main camera with 10x digital zoom and a 12MP front camera with 85-degree FOV. In our Galaxy S25 Edge review, we called it a svelte phone that offers the same One UI 7 experience and Galaxy AI features found on the S25 Ultra. Just keep in mind you'll need to charge it during the day as its battery life only hit 12 hours and 24 minutes in our testing.
Amazon fall shop: up to 50% off @ Amazon
Fall is technically still a few days away, but stocking up on cozy essentials and Halloween decor now is a must. Fortunately, Amazon has everything you need to satisfy all your fall cravings with deals up to 50% off. We're talking Halloween lights, candy, flannels, candles, blankets, decor and more starting at just $9.
Apparel
Carhartt sale: deals from $9 @ Amazon
If you're looking to upgrade your wardrobe, Carhartt has tons of rugged and stylish pieces you'll want to rock all season long.
Timberland sale: deals from $9 @ Amazon
Amazon is hosting a huge Timberland sale with up to 60% off. Timberland has tons of rugged and fashionable footwear and apparel to boost your style.
New Balance sale: up to 50% off @ Amazon
Amazon is currently hosting a huge New Balance sale that knocks up to 50% off select running shoe styles and athletic apparel. Whether you're looking for a training shoe, a casual pair of sneakers or some new fitness clothing, there's a little something for everyone in the New Balance sale.
Columbia: deals from $15 @ Amazon
Get your wardrobe fall and winter ready with the latest sale from Columbia. Amazon is discounting many of our favorite Columbia apparel with deals from $24. From versatile zip-ups to lightweight fleeces, there's bound to be something for you in the latest sale. For example, you can get the Columbia Sweater Weather Full Zip for just $55 (pictured, was $90).
Crocs: deals from $20 @ Amazon
Amazon has a wide selection of Crocs for men, women, and children on sale from $20. The sale includes their classic clogs, slides, sandals, slip-on shoes, and more. I've been wearing my Crocs around the house for about a year and find them to be comfortable, durable, and just a great all-purpose shoe.
Cushionnaire sale: up to 40% off @ Amazon
If you're in the market for some Birkenstocks, but don't want to pay the hefty price, I have the recommendation just for you. Cushionnaire is a brand that makes super comfy slides (among other styles) that resemble Birkenstocks — except they're a fraction of the price. Our deals writer Olivia Halevy has a pair of the pictured sandals, which are now up to 40% off and she absolutely loves them.
When it's too hot for leggings, opt for these Adidas Techfit Training Shorts. These compression short leggings fit snugly for extra support, while wicking sweat off your body to keep you comfortable and dry.
Hoka: deals from $60 @ Amazon
It's not the largest Hoka sale I've seen, but Amazon is discounting select Hoka sneakers as part of its Prime Big Deal Days event. The sale includes sneakers for men, women, and children. Amazon is also lowering the price of select Hoka unisex slides.
Smart home
We all have electronic devices in our house that aren't smart. However, if they plug into the wall, they can get smart features thanks to this Amazon Smart Plug. It is currently listed for around 50% off, so it's a great deal to turn your old lamps and other basic devices into smart ones — all with Alexa support.
The Blink Mini 2 proves that good things come in small packages. This tiny but mighty camera works equally well inside or outside, rain or shine. Its color night vision and person detection features punch well above its weight class, delivering smart security without the premium price tag.
The Ring Indoor Cam (2023) can record 1080p video, scare off intruders with a built-in siren, and detect motion in specified zones. It is more compact than the previous model with the addition of a new privacy shutter and upgraded mount. This is the lowest price we've seen to date.
Amazon devices: from $11 @ Amazon
If you missed Prime Day this summer, Amazon just slashed the price of various Alexa-powered items with deals from $17. The sale includes items like this Spider-Man Stand for Echo Dot for $29 (pictured, was $39). You can also shop Ring, Kindle, Fire TVs, and other devices.
While we recommend 4K streaming devices over HD, this option from Roku is great if you don't have a 4K TV. You'll get access to the excellent Roku streaming interface, all the streaming services you could want and voice controls via the Roku remote.
The Roku Streaming Stick Plus 2025 is the latest upgrade in Roku’s lineup, replacing the previous Express 4K Plus. This newer model is smaller, faster, and more powerful, offering stunning 4K HDR and Dolby Vision streaming. With improved Wi-Fi and access to thousands of channels, it’s one of the best Roku devices right now.
This compact streaming stick offers smooth 4K HDR playback with Dolby Vision, a powerful quad-core processor, and next‑gen Wi‑Fi 6E support. It’s perfect for upgrading older TVs and improving load times. Ideal for users who want solid streaming performance without complexity. We rank it as Amazon's best streaming stick right now.
This kit includes 65 feet (two strips that are roughly 34 feet long) worth of LED lighting. Peel and stick it to your furniture, WFH desk, or bedroom walls — the possibilities are endless. The app has 64 preset effects, but you can also use it to create your own color combinations or sync it while using music mode. It’s also voice-controlled via Alexa and Google Assistant. Note: Click the on-page digital coupon to get this deal.
In our review of this light strip from Govee, our editor covered the perimeter of her desk without any hiccups. Other reviewers note an appreciation for the durability of the silicone base, plus the brightness and vibrancy of the segmented RGBIC (Red, Green, Blue, Indepdent Control) that can be scheduled and synchronized to sound in the app. Be sure to apply the coupon to get this price.
The Fire TV Cube is Amazon's most powerful streamer, driven by an octa-core processor that's about twice as fast as the Fire TV Stick 4K Max. It supports 4K with Dolby Vision and Atmos, Wi‑Fi 6E, and hands‑free Alexa in all directions. A built‑in HDMI‑in port lets you control a cable box, console, or webcam via voice.
Show your NFL pride with the new NFL Faceplates for your Ring Battery Doorbell. You can purchase a faceplate for just $24 or purchase a Ring Video Doorbell Plus with the faceplate of your choice for a discounted price of $99. (This NY Giants Ring and faceplate bundle costs $99). In our Ring Battery Doorbell Plus review, we found it delivered excellent squared video that shows what's happening closer to your front door, was easy to install, and its battery lasted a good long time, too.
The Fire TV Soundbar is a great cheap option to boost your Fire TV's audio. It supports DTS Virtual:X and Dolby Audio, plus Bluetooth connectivity so it won't hog a valuable HDMI port. There's no Dolby Atmos, but that's understandable at this low price.
This 60-inch floor lamp can give your home an instant makeover. The Matter-supported LED lamp offers vibrant colors and limitless lighting possibilities with 1725 lumens of brightness. You can control it via voice commands or via the Govee app to create custom lighting for reading, working, or watching TV. I also like its built-in microphone which can be used to create a music mode that changes the lamps colors based on your soundtrack. It works with Apple HomeKit, Alexa, and Google Assistant.
TVs
This 55-inch Roku TV is part of Roku's 2025 lineup. It provides a bright 4K picture, Apple AirPlay support, Apple HomeKit/Amazon Alexa/Google Assistant support, and three HDMI ports. Made by Roku, this TV also features Roku's platform for all your streaming needs.
Who says TVs have to cost a fortune? This 70-inch Insignia TV offers impressive image quality no matter what you're watching. Thanks to its built-in Fire TV features, you can also stream all your favorite shows and movies and control them with your voice thanks to full Alexa support.
Announced in November 2024, this is Amazon's first Mini-LED TV. It features a 144Hz refresh rate in tandem with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support to give gamers ample juice for fast-paced games. The TV also has an Ambient Experience feature, so when it's powered off it displays dynamic artwork. This is also the first Amazon Fire TV to support Dolby Atmos audio.
The TCL QM7K is a budget-friendly Mini-LED TV that is perfect for folks who want to upgrade to a truly impressive TV without breaking the bank. It features built-in Google TV with Chromecast, a slate of sought-after gaming features (such as HDMI 2.1 and 4K gaming up to 144Hz), and a bright, colorful picture worthy of movie night. In our TCL QM7K QD-Mini LED TV review we said the Editor's Choice TV is an affordable TV you can count on.
It's not every day you see a new 2025 model getting a major discount on the heels of its release, but the U8QG is an icon in this regard (and many more). It's bound to be among our favorite gaming TVs this year thanks to its slew of gaming features built on a 165Hz refresh rate. It's also got the best brightness in the TV game, owing to its Hisense lineage.
Apple
The Apple AirTag is an excellent Bluetooth tracker that is extremely easy to set up and does a great job of locating your valuables. Each coin-sized tracker offers a replaceable battery lasting over a year, water resistance, and seamless integration with iPhones. This bundle includes four, so you can have one on multiple items. This is just $5 shy of the the lowest price we've ever seen for this 4-pack.
The 2025 iPad features a larger 11-inch (2360 x 1640) screen, A16 CPU, 12MP rear/front cameras, USB-C connectivity, and Magic Keyboard Folio ($249) support. The base model features 128GB of storage, which double the capacity of its predecessor. It's available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB capacities.
In our MacBook Air M4 review, we said the Editor's Choice laptop is irresistible thanks to its speedy performance, sharper camera and lower starting price. The MacBook Air M4 supports dual external monitors, even when you have the laptop's lid open. And it packs a 13.6-inch Liquid Retina display (2560 x 1664), Apple's M4 CPU w/ 10-core GPU, 16GB of RAM and 256GB SSD.
Prefer a bigger screen? The 15-inch model is also on sale. It packs a 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display (2880 x 1864), Apple's M4 CPU w/ 10-core GPU, 16GB of RAM, and 256GB SSD.
Appliances
This 7-quart slow cooker is the perfect size to house a big batch of chili or queso to snack on all day. Or you can plan ahead and slow cook a melt-in-your-mouth roast with some carrots and potatoes for an easy dinner.
Available in several different colors, this Ninja portable bender allows you to make perfectly smooth drinks anywhere you go. This is an especially great deal for athletes because you can make up to 18 ounces of shakes and smoothies on the go. It features an easy-open sip lid that lets you blend and drink in the same vessel.
The Braun BrewSense is one of our favorite budget coffee makers. It does exactly what you need it to do: makes delicious coffee, consistently, every time. It also has a stylish design, and won't take up too much counter space. Check out our Braun BrewSense Drip Coffee Maker review for the full lowdown.
This sleek electric Kettle heats and boils your brews quickly. With six preset heating profiles to choose from, it can extract the most flavor out of your tea or morning coffee. We rank it as one of the best electric kettles you can buy.
The FlexBreeze HydroGo is selling out fast. This innovative and portable cooling solution brings the breeze both indoors and outdoors. Plus, with cutting-edge misting technology, it creates a spa-like cooling effect that will see temperatures dropping and life in the sunshine improving. With rechargeable batteries, it can last up to 12 hours, keeping you cool and comfy.
In our Airmega AP-1512HH review, we said that the air purifier is small and compact in stature, but powerful. Its eco-friendly setting also helps keep energy costs low, earning it the most energy-efficient of the bunch. Better yet, it provides a decent clean air delivery rate (CADR) of 247.5/232.3/241.3. It also offers an ionizer mode, which will disperse negative ions to improve the quality of the air it filters.
The Blue Signature is Blueair's new line of stylish and highly functional air purifiers. This large unit can clean rooms of up to 3,385 sq ft. In our Blueair Blue Signature review, we said the Editor's Choice air purifier is stylish, but also performs well thanks to Blueair’s unique four-stage odor reducing system combined with electrostatic and HEPA filtering.
Our current choice for the best blender on the market is the Vitamix Ascent X2. We called it "the king of blenders" in our Vitamix Ascent X2 review and gave it a rare 5-star rating. It's pricey, but it effortlessly blends together ingredients, has speed control options and is easy to clean.
Computing
The Fire Max 11 is the best Amazon Fire tablet you can buy, and right now it's just shy of being $100 off. It sports a bright 11-inch 2K screen, a 2.2GHz octa-core Mediatek MT8188J CPU, 4GB RAM, and 64GB of storage. In our Fire Max 11 review, I called it Amazon's best Fire tablet yet, and now's a great time to get one at a good discount.
Looking for an affordable, lightweight Android tablet that doesn't skimp on screen size? Samsung's Galaxy Tab S6 Lite certainly fits the bill. The Tab S6 Lite boasts a crisp 10.4-inch display and comes with an S Pen in the box, making it ideal for those who want to sketch or take notes on the go.
This massive slate is one of the best tablets you can get if you're a fan of large screens. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra is a beefy Android tablet that sports a ginormous 14.6-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED display. With 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage and the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ under the hood, it's a capable machine, and it offers the largest screen you can get on a premium tablet.
Audio
If you're willing to live without active noise-cancellation, these Soundcore by Anker P20i buds are fantastic value for money. Offering 10mm drivers for impressive "big" bass, along with Bluetooth 5.3, 30-hour battery life, water-resistance, 22 preset EQs and in-app customisation, which is great for this price.
While they aren't technically true wireless, on account of the wire that connects the buds, the Flex are a great pair of fitness earbuds. They're super comfortable thanks to their lightweight, and this $30 saving is a solid discount.
Amazon has slashed the price of the Beats Studio Buds. You get active noise canceling, sweat resistance and up to eight hours of listening time, or 24 hours when combined with the pocket-sized charging case. Our Beats Studio Buds review called these "a small but feature-stuffed set of wireless earbuds."
The AirPods Pro 2 pack Apple's new H2 chip to provide 2x more noice cancellation than their predecessors. They also offer Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking for a more immersive audio experience. In our AirPods Pro 2 review, we said they take everything we loved about the original AirPods Pro to the next level. This new model includes a USB-C charging case.
Mattresses
The most affordable bed from popular boxed mattress brand Casper, the Sleep Element is an all-foam mattress with a softer feel that should suit side sleepers. A queen is now $474 (was $645) which is close to the lowest price we've seen this year but we might be keeping our fingers crossed for another price cut on Prime Day itself.
The Siena Memory Foam is one of the best mattresses we've tested and a dream for back and stomach sleepers. It's also one of the best value mattresses you can buy: $288.99 for a queen is a steal for Prime members (you'll pay $359 in the Siena mattress sale.) Our Siena Memory Foam Mattress review team was full of praise but be aware the firmer feel isn't for side sleepers.
For bargain hunters, a queen EGOHOME all-foam mattress is down to its lowest price of the year at just $152.96 (was $208.99.) We were highly impressed with its pricier cousin, the EGOHOME 12" Black Mattress, and while this bed is unlikely to have the same level of pressure relief, it's great for a guest room. Thanksgiving is around the corner...
