I found the 9 TV deals worth shopping at Best Buy’s 4th of July sale

We’ve officially crossed into the dog days of summer. I don’t know about you, but I plan on beating the heat by staying inside and parking myself in front of the TV whenever the thermometer climbs above 100°F.

If your living room would feel a lot cooler with a new TV and you feel like you missed your shot now that Prime Day’s over, don’t sweat it — Best Buy is running a 4th of July sales event this holiday weekend, and I’ve already plucked out the best TV deals available.

For instance, the 65-inch LG C5 is just $1,299, and while that’s not quite as low as its Prime Day price, it’s still over 50% off this five-star OLED’s original price. There are discounts on OLEDs, QLEDs and Mini-LED TVs for every size and budget, but some of them (like the LG C5) are among my favorite TV deals of the year so far.

My favorite Best Buy 4th of July TV deals

TCL 55" QM5K Mini-LED TV
Save $350
TCL 55" QM5K Mini-LED TV: was $699 now $349 at Best Buy

The most affordable TV I recommend at Best Buy's 4th of July sale is this entry-level Mini-LED TV. The QM5K comes with built-in Google TV features for all of your streaming needs, plus Dolby Vision support. Its handiest feature is its Mini-LED backlighting, which is tough to find at this price point. I recommend going with the QM5K over an ultra-cheap model from Insignia or Westinghouse.

Hisense 55" U6SF Mini-LED TV

Hisense 55" U6SF Mini-LED TV: was $749 now $429 at Best Buy

Along with the aforementioned QM5K, Hisense's entry-level Mini-LED TV is one of the most affordable ways to secure a 55-inch TV with Mini-LED backlighting at Best Buy's 4th of July sale. And, like the QM5K, it's also a Best Buy-exclusive model. In addition to its Mini-LEDs, the U6SF also comes with Fire TV streaming software and full-array local dimming for improved contrast.

Roku 65" Plus Series 4K Mini-LED TV

Roku 65" Plus Series 4K Mini-LED TV: was $649 now $499 at Best Buy

If you're searching for a 4th of July deal on an affordable TV that emphasizes easy streaming, the Roku Plus Series is the TV I recommend for the job. Its entry-level array of Mini-LEDs allows for better contrast control than what you'll find on cheaper TVs with edge-lit displays, and thanks to its built-in Roku functionality, the Plus Series is very easy to use.

LG 48" B5 4K OLED TV
Save $50
LG 48" B5 4K OLED TV: was $649 now $599 at Best Buy

LG's entry-level OLED, the B5, isn't as bright as higher-end OLED TVs, but you still get to bask in the glory of OLED display technology. It's also another Best Buy-exclusive model, so you won't find the B5 in this size anywhere else. It's also the most affordable OLED on sale during Best Buy's 4th of July sales event.

Samsung 65" M80H Mini-LED TV
Save $152
Samsung 65" M80H Mini-LED TV: was $799 now $647 at Best Buy

This sale price on Samsung's latest mid-range Mini-LED TV likely won't last for the entirety of Best Buy's 4th of July sale, so if you're interested, I recommend jumping on it fast. Although it's a step down from the higher-end Neo QLED model, the Samsung M80H offers Mini-LED performance and plenty of features for the price.

TCL 65" QM7K 4K Mini-LED TV

TCL 65" QM7K 4K Mini-LED TV: was $999 now $799 at Best Buy

The TCL QM7K is perfect for folks who want to upgrade to a truly impressive Mini-LED TV without breaking the bank. It's also an especially good pick for gamers on a budget, thanks to an impressive array of gaming enhancements. Best Buy's 4th of July sale will likely be the last major sales event the QM7K will see, as it's soon to be replaced by a newer, pricier model.

Hisense 75" U7SF Mini-LED TV : was $1,999 now $999 at Best Buy

Hisense's newest, mid-range set offers a taste of high-end performance without the sky-high price. Even though it just made its debut, it's already got a half-off price tag at Best Buy's 4th of July sale. In addition to bright, punchy Mini-LEDs and QLED color, the U7SF also offers a thorough slate of gaming- and streaming-related features.

LG 65" C5 4K OLED TV
Save 52% ($1,400)
LG 65" C5 4K OLED TV: was $2,699 now $1,299 at Best Buy

The LG C5 is one of my favorite TVs ever made, so naturally, it's one of my favorite OLED deals at Best Buy this weekend. We awarded this OLED TV with a rare 5-star rating for its sensational performance, its class-leading selection of features (especially for gamers) and its approachable price point. The C5 delivers all of the benefits we've come to expect from OLED displays, but its design, software and overall experience are the result of LG's excellent engineering.

Samsung 77" S90F 4K OLED TV
Save 49% ($1,700)
Samsung 77" S90F 4K OLED TV: was $3,499 now $1,799 at Best Buy

Samsung's mid-range OLED TV has been immensely popular with our readers, and it's easy to understand why. This OLED delivers fantastic HDR brightness for a TV in this class, and it's packed with a ton of features for gaming and streaming. The 77-inch model was too pricey for most people at launch, but during Best Buy's sale, it's nearly 50% off its original price.
